Suits - Armour, God Enchantments and More! Now for Bukkit 1.5

Hey Guys,

This is my first Plugin for Bukkit called Suits, it's relatively small but offers extra's for server owners and admins.

What does it do?

This plugin gives you two commands which let you give someone or yourself a full suit of Diamond armour or maximum 127 level enchanted Diamond armour. This could be used for owner, admins or be given as a reward for donators.

What are the commands?

There are two optional commands for this plugin.

Normal full Diamond Armour Suit: /suit <name> <armourtype>

Enchanted Diamond Suit: /godsuit <name> <armourtype>

*NOTE* At this moment you always have to supply a username, even when it is yourself, this will be fixed in a future update *NOTE*

Permissions

Permissions for this plugin are simple.

The parent permission for all commands is:

suit.*

Normal Suit command only:

suit.normal.use

Enchanted Suit command only:

suit.god.use

Ongoing Development

This is my first plugin so I am sure it could use some improvements, this has been a learning project with the bonus of having something that works. Also Im working on allowing someone to just do /suit and give the armour to themselves. Another addition could be configurable armour amounts and enchantment levels.

You should add god weapons too, I can never find a good plug-in for GodWeapons! I am putting this plugin on my maybe plug-ins list! Once you add God weapons, its a definite YES!

Thanks for your comment. I will look into this but I do believe that it is a problem with Bukkit Forge. If it is a command issue that correlates to a command in Bukkit Forge then I will rename the commands.

I have tested the plugin on a vanilla server and there seems to be no problem.

Yep, it would definitely be helpful do add a config choosing your own custom armor/enchants, this is GREAT for prisons servers :)

Do you mean /godsuit or /suit as the latest updated suit.jar has the option to set any type of amour in /suit: Syntax /suit <name> [armourtype]

It would be cool if you could choose all armor, not just Diamond! Something to add in a future update maybe?

Thanks Comoreto, I have a beta version of the plugin which can specify what type of armour when /suit is used e.g. /suit <name> [armourtype]

<> = required, [] = optional as the default will now be iron

Also I will add config files for all of this in the near future, just got to work out how to do it. I'm only 15 but want to try and make some useful plugins. I better get learning,

P.S. Weapons will be in config aswel as the plugin is for Suits and I don't want to encroach on a /kit plugin

I liked it!

Using on v. 1.3.2 plain and fine.

I would only ask you to add shinny gold suits as well, if possible, and also weapons in the future!
