StorageUnit
Hi all. I got this idea to create a plugin that lets you make a "Storage Unit".
A Storage Unit will let you use commands to open it and deposit items into it,
by default it will fit 1998 different stacks but you can change the max size.
You can use the same open command but with an added argument,
which is the item name you're looking for, or part of the item name and
it will open the interface showing all items with their name or display name containing your search argument.
Example
You deposit 3 iron picks, some iron ingots and coal into the unit using "/su open".
You then want to get the coal out, so you type "su open coal" and it will show
you a double chest window containing all items with "coal" in their name.
The plugin is set as Experimental for now, because it may be unstable or have bugs left,
but I am fairly certain of there being no major issues with it.
I look forward to hearing what people have to say, and please report any bugs or issues you have with the plugin.

It is storage per person, only the owner can access it
The data is stored in yml, inside data.yml
It is only possible to have 1 unit per player for now
The storage can only be accessed from the block it was registered on
I have a Donate button at the top right, next to the little Curse flame logo button
Donations are always welcome, and I will continue to work on this plugin until there are no more bugs and I have added a few more features I have planned.

You mean it doesn't create a folder in the plugin folder? Any errors?

Posted Jul 16, 2013OMG! I have been waiting for something like this.
few questions :
1) is the storage per person? I don't want person A being able to access the storage for person B
2) how is the data stored? flatfile, SQL etc ?
3) Is it possible to have more than 1 storage unit per person? or should I just increase the size if necessary?
4) when using the storage block (lapis), can it then be accessed thru any lapis block? or only the same one?
5) More than willing to test this on my server and give willing victims... err players perms at their own risk.... Do you have a donate option to encourage progress? or for pizza? pizza is always good.
