This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

This project is inactive, use Statistics instead.

At the moment we are building up a new team and structures. We we hope to begin as soon as we can!

Continuing from where the previous Statistician plugin left off (Link) this project aims to improve the plugin and keep it up to date. Lots of credit to ChaseHQ for starting this plugin originally!

Features

Many different types of statistics stored

Server stats (Uptime, max players online)
Player stats (Kills PvE and PvP, blocks placed/destroyed, distance travelled, items picked/dropped, total time online)

Built in web portal

Let the world view all of your server and player stats! A complete web page featuring a multitude of statistics unique to your server.
Providing you have the webspace for it with PHP installed you're good to go, check out the installation instructions for it below.

mySQL database storage for the stats

Quick and easy access to all of your stats yourself or through a web portal. (A detailed list of tables can be found at the bottom of this readme)

Customisable join messages

These settings can be found in the 'Config' table in your database.

Permissions

statistician.ignore Don't record statistics of the player.

Requirements

MySQL Ver 5 or Higher for tracking stats
Web server with PHP extensions installed if you want to use bundled web portal

Is there a way to edit the database?
also
If I wanted to put STRING_SERVER_SERVER_CURRENT_UPTIME on a different page, how would I do so?

My biggest problem with this plugin is that the web portal is designed so badly. It looks like complete crap. The plugin is Great otherwise.

This plugin really needs to be rewritten and fully optimized, especially the web portal!

And it needs a facken config, badly.

Hey, I've got an problem with error and spam on my console with this message:

(Thread stack overrun: 8368 bytes used of a 131072 byte stack, and 128000 bytes needed. Use 'mysqld -O thread_stack=#' to specify a bigger stack.)

I use v2.0.10. Maybe it's a problem because I use verygames MySQL database and they have SQL address: sql-1.verygames.net with -?

I didn't have this problem when my SQL db was hosted on different server.

I'm positive that I configure it correctly because installation did create tables in MySQL db and connection to database was establish.

Any suggestions?

Hey there, I would like to see an Filter for the Server- ans Player-Statistic like: All Time, this Week, this Day.

So I can see how much blocks where thrown away today or something like that time-filtered information :)

Is this possible?

I will try to add some more fixes or features for a next release... You have to configure the correct timezone within your server settings or your php.ini but this could be added also to the statistician settings ;) -> Posted an ticket.

Would it be to much trouble to release a new recommended build with the offline thing we talked about added in? it's been a wile.

Also where can I change the timezone?

has anyone written a query that purges data from players with login count <5 or playtime <2 hours?

looking for a easy way to purge old not needed data from all Statistician tables

I'd LOVE to use this but we already have towny and log block logging stuff to their own SQL database.

Won't this take un-nessessary CPU time logging yet again the same stuff?
