Movecraft
Movecraft is back home!
Thank you all for supporting SpoutTransport. We are now finally starting to see the light at the end of an extended tunnel. With the new update looming, although still very not finished, we have merged back into the original move craft.
Please use the normal move craft page.
ci.countercraft.net is still going to provide the latest builds when we start building the new version finally.
Donations are still welcome, and the button at the top of this page will leave a much appreciated donation to the move craft project.

Posted Apr 1, 2012I am sorry to disappoint guys, but the new release, V9 is going to be delayed.
There are two main reasons:
- Waterbourne ships do not work. Craft Detection was not accounting for them.
- The API looks awful. I would like to get it out.
But cant't we just have the .yml config.
No, that is plumbed into the new internals, which can't be released for the above reasons.

Yes ships in water still work as long as your config is the same. Try with a small wood only ship and see if it works?

Its in the middle of the ocean :P
I assume parts of the ship can be underwater right? I know they could in old versions I had around 6 months ago but you could use chests then so it might have changed :P

Ship won't go any further means that the ship is obstructed. Make sure your harbour isn't accidentally blocking your ship.

Trying to use a ship, but whenever I click I just get the message "The ship won't go any further"
Any idea why? Aircraft worked fine, its just the ship. It threw errors on the console for 1.2 blocks - removing them made no difference though.

Tomorrow, I will release the new .yml config version. This makes crafts and the central config into YAML. It wil be released on our new CI server, (thanks to Black_Goat) which I will post a link to above. I expect the new configs to be the hardest part of the transfer, but it remains to be seen.
Chests - meh, were getting there
Rotation - Almost fixed
Batch Updating - done a bit not much. Highly unstable.

Nice that worked i have added all perms for the diffrent transports but boat dont work for my players i have gived them this perms - movecraft.boat.info - movecraft.boat.release - movecraft.boat.pilot - movecraft.boat.remote - movecraft.boat.turn - movecraft.boat - movecraft.boat.setname
And i added this perm to and it still dont work - movecraft.boat.sail

Posted Mar 31, 2012If you can, I would like to see some alternative to typing commands for craft
My players miss the old Sign functionality, but if you can implement a better
control regime then go for it. Spout custom items, GUI, whatever.
Support for permissions groups and/or owners would be much appreciated :D
I just want to make sure others can use this great plugin too, and say thanks.

I will happily provide a complete chat log of what xMrMatty has done. What he says is completely unfounded and I hope this does not affect your opinions of Movecraft. There was never a threat of any virus inside movecraft, the source is available on GitHub. MrMatty runs a server called the pirate kingdom. I have never contacted to this nor do I intend to.
His claims that I would force him to make me OP are frankly ridiculous. I play on a server owned by VariousArtist and I have never asked to be made OP or be given any permissions. The idea that I could remotely disable copies of move craft is ridiculous. If you do not believe me, decompile move craft and check if there is a remote shutdown or manual override. You will find none.
This post appears to be entirely based around discrediting move craft and gaining downloads for autocraft. I hope you choose move craft but I understand should you wish to choose autocraft.
Finally I have asked MrMatty never to contact me due to a threat that he would have me kidnapped. As such I ask all users to ignore him, and I will request his banning from bukkit immediately.
