Spoof
We've all dealt with players who can't grasp the complexities of sending Minecraft commands. This plugin lets you send commands as other players, a sort of runas command. It may baby them but it will save you headache. Surprised this didn't exist already, it was a 10 minute job. I probably won't add anything more but I'm sure you'll suggest anyway and I'll see what I can do. No, this won't run faster with MySQL.

Posted Apr 28, 2012After looking at the downloaded Jar file I have copied the following from that file. To be honest, for aesthetic reasons perhaps, I definitely cringe when I see "sudo" used like this. Sets my alarm bells ringing unnecessarily perhaps when issuing this from my BSD Unix Terminal (I.e. Mac OS).
Commands
Spoof:
description: Spoof a message or command for a player. usage: /spoof <player> <message>
Sudo:
description: Spoof a message or command from player, temporarily opping him. usage: /sudo <player> <message>
Permissions
spoof.use:
description: Allow player to use /spoof default: op
spoof.sudo:
description: Allow player to use /sudo default: op
spoof.nospoof:
description: This player cannot be spoofed. default: op

Posted Sep 2, 2011Thanks for writing, I was wondering why one didn't exist and was considering writing one myself.. Now I can just use yours. :) One request: can you make it so console is considered to have perms? (unless there's a way in superperms to do this already..) If you don't want to add it, let me know and I'll take a look at it and push you a gitdiff.
