SpeedyOre
SpeedyOre is a plugin that is made to shorten the time it takes to clear out ore veins. Breaking one ore block will break all connecting ore blocks if the player uses an iron or diamond pickaxe. It correct works with efficiency pickaxes dropping extra materials as you would expect. Now also works correctly with silktouch changing the drops correctly! Also will damage the pick for every block mined. Finally you will receive the experience that you would have got directly! Its just like normal mining only faster!
This is a perfect plugin for a donor reward!

Installing:
Download the jar file and place into your plugins directory on your server. Start and your server. Everything should be working!
Commands:
No commands.
Permissions:
Allows the use of the SpeedyOre Plugin:
- speedyore.mine
Will drop the all of the ores on top of the player:
- speedyore.collect

Posted Jul 20, 2013Just found a new bug. I use faction as spawn protection; people seem able to mine ores in my spawn protected area. Would be cool if you fixed this.

Thanks for the reply; I was able to get it to work with your suggestion. The odd thing is that I was testing it on my own development server where I don't have any permissions plugin installed. Presumably, I would, by default, have all permissions. However it seems that this plugin would not work without a permissions plugin present.
My solution was to install a permissions plugin and then grant myself the perm to use SpeedyOre. This allowed me to mine a whole vein as described. Great plugin! Thanks :)

Have you set the permission 'speedyore.mine' ? without doing this the plugin will not work but not have any errors. Also keep in mind it works only when using a iron/diamond pick in survival mode.

SpeedyOre v1.2 is will fix exp and also have a new permission to drop the ores directly on top of the player. Should take less about 24 hours to be approved.

It doesn't drop any XP when for example mining netherquartz or coal. I'm looking forward to a fix since I really like this plugin :)
