Spectate
What is spectate?
Spectate allows you to watch players from their point of view, simply by typing in /spectate (player). You will see exactly what they see, and they'll never know you were watching them.
You can also watch them from different angles. There's Third Person, Third Person Front (looking at their face), and Freeroam (you can walk freely around and watch them from any angle).
There's also "Scroll" mode and "Scan" mode. Scroll mode allows you to right and left click to change between players, and Scan mode will change the player you're spectating every few seconds (you can set how long until it switches to the next person).
There's also an API, which allows developers to take control of the entire plugin.

Right now I'm just testing it on my main server to find anything that isn't supposed to be happening, and I'm also trying to fix multiverse inventory compatibility, which is a little trickier to do. Once I think I have a stable build, I'll upload a dev build for users to try.

Posted Jul 19, 2013I'm so so glad you made a plugin like this, much respect. i have a server with team death match and search and destroy (playlists from COD) and if you play COD you will know about the spectating mode after you die, im guessing you do since you put the 3rd person. Also in COD.

Posted Jul 8, 2013Hello, I am having an error using Spectate v1.11.1 with Spigot-1.6.1-R0.1

Sorry the last bit is cut off, my console seems to snip off the last 16 lines, hopefully this will help though :D
I also have the Multiverse error and really don't wanna sift through 50 pages of issues... so I've just warned moderators to clear their inventory before spectating. If you can provide a quick fix that's awesome if not, well I've got a work around.

Yes, it should be fixed in 2.0, and no, I don't need donations. I've just got a few more things left to finish before I release it, but I've got a really, really big deadline coming up soon for this Minecraft network I'm working with and I have a lot of stuff to code for it, and I also have my own Minecraft server that has really been lacking in updates recently. I won't be able to really concentrate on Spectate for about 1 to 2 weeks until I've got this network stuff done. I hope you can understand.
