Lightweight Spawner Manager for Modern Servers

SpawnerSilk gives server owners full control over how mob spawners are mined, modified, moved, and managed.

Let players collect spawners with configurable Silk Touch rules, change spawner types with spawn eggs, and let admins edit spawner settings directly in-game.

Want custom spawners in survival mode? Use spawn eggs and combine SpawnerSilk with Creature Capture.

Download the latest SpawnerSilk.jar, place it in your plugins folder, and restart your server.

Statistics

Since version 2.9, SpawnerSilk uses bStats to collect anonymous usage statistics. You can disable it in plugins/bStats/config.yml.

Zombie villager spawner just spawns regular zombies. I imagine this is similar to the wither skeleton spawner spawning skeletons that was just patched.

This is great! The best free 1.14 spawner plugin.

The only thing i noticed is when the spawners are listed (after typing an invalid spawner in "/givespawner [x]") silverfish is listed twice for some reason.

I would also love it if you could add charged creeper, wither, and ender dragon spawners :)

How would you make it so iron golems can spawn in the air. How would you make it so any spawner can spawn during the day time without having to make it dark?

Currently, the plugin just provide different types of spawners. It don't edit the internal system of how spawner works. So you can't edit theses parameters with SpawnerSilk. Maybe I will add theses kind of features in the future.

2.7 and 2.8 both do not allow right clicking on spawner with an egg to change it. I tried reloading the config and no new options presented themselves despite the note "NEW in 2.6 : You can now disable/enable egg that modify spawner type (in config file)"

I am running MC 1.14.4 on PaperMC. This feature previously worked.

Hi, to solve your problem, please do theses instructions in the correct order :

1) Shutdown your server

2) remove the file config.yml in SpawnerSilk plugin folder (server must be shutdown before)

3) restart your server

4) You will now see the egg paramer (spawnersCanBeModifiedByEgg) make sure the param is on true.

Please tell me if that solve your issue.

All cavespider spawners result in normal spider spawners when mined and placed
