SpawnerGUI

SpawnerGUI will open a GUI upon right clicking a spawner if the player has the correct permission. The GUI offers you the ability to change the spawner type just by clicking on one of the spawner eggs.

Features

Right clicking a spawner will open a clean GUI.
If enabled, players can protect spawners from being edited by anyone else but them.
Sneaking will prevent the GUI from opening. (Reversible)
Uses the default Minecraft click sound when selecting an option.
Permissions & (optional) economy support. (Economy requires Vault)
WorldGuard support.
Comes with a simple and easy configuration file.

GUI IGNORE Spawner IGNORE GUI 2

Permission	Description
spawnergui.open	Will open the GUI upon right clicking a spawner.
spawnergui.edit.<mob name>	Allows you to change the spawned type to what specified.
spawnergui.edit.*	Allows you to change the spawned type to any type.
spawnergui.eco.bypass.<mob name>	Bypass the costs for the specified type.
spawnergui.eco.bypass.*	Bypass the costs for all types.
spawnergui.command.reload	Access to the /spawnergui command.

SpawnerGUI does not require Spout or anything similar, it runs purely on Bukkit!

Great plugin! One major problem I've found,Or.. my players have found is.. I don't know how its done,exactly But by right clicking the spawner to open the gui and closing it about 5 times then picking up a egg inside and bringing it to my inv,It stayed And it actually spawned the mob it says Since I know you usally first reproduce the problem Try a few times,If you can't reproduce it,I will get a video up of it..

If that message appears, it means the the spawner (block type) you first interacted with, is no longer a spawner, and as it displays as 'air', it means the spawner block no longer there, it's just air.
Are you sure that the block is still a spawner at the moment you change it?

Edit: I was just able to reproduce the issue, I will look into a fix immediately, I'm truly sorry.

1.9 Doesn't seem to be working correctly. I have to reload it a lot to get it to change the spawners. And often times it gives me this error when selecting an egg. "The spawner block is no longer Valid! (air)"

When I do get it to work, it only works once on 1 spawner then stops working again.

Sweet, Nice work. You should add a PayPal Donation button to your post as well. I wouldn't mind donating $5 or $10.

Also you should think about adding an option to allow players to break the spawners and have them be dropped. I know there are already plugins like this but it would be nice to not need 2 plugins.

That build issue is definitely fixed in v1.9 (awaiting approval), and I will probably begin with the database feature after Minecraft 1.8 has been released (UUIDs) :)

Okay thank you very much, It would be awesome if you fixed this issue because I have 2 Faction worlds. 1 for No Grief and 1 for Grief. I had to create a region that covers the world so that when they change worlds it sends them a Greeting to tell them what world they are in so they do not grief in the no grief world. However both these regions are flagged to allow building and they still cannot edit them. So I just removed the regions for now.

Also I am very much looking forward to a version with a database so that players cannot troll or fuck with other players spawners. Some of the mob types cost a decent amount of money and would suck if someone changes it to a pig or something.

That means the spawner is located inside a WorldGuard protection which of the player does not have permissions to build in.
I made a minor change in v1.9 which might fix this issue, if it ever was an issue.

I have given groups the spawnergui.open permission but it still says "You are not allowed to edit this spawner." When they right click it.
