Spawner

This plugin allows you to set mob spawner types and optionally gather mob spawners with a Silk Touch enchanted tool.

I meant like the permissions of this plugin, you said that this plugin allows you to control if the player is able to change the mob spawner or even pick it up.... how do i fiddle with those settings?

You should run Spigot. Spigot is an updated and optimized version of Bukkit and what this plugin uses. Bukkit is contained within Spigot.

So there is no way I can just delete the /spawner mechanic, I only want players to be able to silk touch the spawner and thats it.

If you give only those perms to the player it should do what you want. However if you want players to be able to place them again you also have to add spawner.place.all

Or you can just give them spawner.player and they would only have access to do player level things like break and mine and place. They can only run /spawner help, /spawner list, or /spawner which will try to get a message about the spawner type they are looking at in the world which they can also get by clicking the spawner in the world. They can't give spawners to other players or do any of the other things the other permissions are for unless you give them other permissions.

Ok that brings me back to my first question, how do I give those permissions? Do i have to use another plugin for permissions or is there a way to do it without downloading another plugin?

Yes you will want to use a plugin for permissions. You use the commands in your permission plugin to manage permissions.

Sounds like you're missing one of the permissions then.

spawner.mine.all
spawner.break.all

Check your startup log to make sure the plugin is enabled. Verify through your permission plugin that the player has those permissions.

Note that the plugin is not updated to 1.13 yet, the latest release works for 1.12, 1.11 and 1.10. I think I'm almost done working on the 1.13 version though and there is a possibly working version of it committed to the gitlab already if you happen to know how to compile it from source and want to test it.

Glad you like it! I'm still working on the new version. I'm almost done rewriting the command system and was working on adding cooldowns and costs to them. I also want to implement a lot of other features for 3.0. Including possibly the ability to migrate the config but we shall see how that goes. There is a working 1.13 version on the gitlab but I havne't released a compiled version here yet because I wanted to test more and it was missing a lot of features still.

Please try not to break it too much xD, if it's better it's fine by me, as long as I can preserve most of the cfg and already existing spawners don't break.
