Spawner
This plugin allows you to set mob spawner types and optionally gather mob spawners with a Silk Touch enchanted tool.
Thanks to @shop1126 for this video which showcases some of the plugin's features.

You add permissions with your permission plugin. You will have to read the docs for your permission plugin to figure that out.

I will see if I can reproduce this issue and see if I can find a fix. It would be helpful if you created a ticket with a list of plugins you're using and possibly your spawner config file. It might just require recompiling with the latest spigot.

I'm having issues. Some of the users are updating the spawners with eggs, but it won't update the visual part of them. Sometimes when they change the spawner with eggs and then mine them it won't give them the spawner back. (They have silk touch). They also have these permissions:
- spawner.mine.all - spawner.break.all - spawner.place.all - spawner.eggs.all

Spawners generally will stop spawning when lit up enough. Do you mean it doesn't stop spawning? If so does it still do that without this plugin? I don't know how this plugin would cause that to happen.

Posted Apr 10, 2015Is there a way to sell this via a shop ? I know they would need permissions to place anything they are able to buy but the ability to buy them with economy would be awesome :)

I don't think I've ever actually tested that so I can't say if it should work or not. Which permission plugin are you using? I could try to test and see. It might also depend on your permission plugin and the order they are set.

Posted Apr 3, 2015I just posted a new release which hopefully should work with the latest Spigot - git-Spigot-dbe012b-63e28b1 (MC: 1.8.3). Hopefully everything works ok but if not please let me know so I can fix it.
About Essentials shop, I tested the Spigot Essentials release with the Spawner v2.1 release but I don't know exactly why it doesn't work. It seems like maybe essentials isn't setting the durability properly. I tried adding custom items to the plugins/Essentials/items.csv like:
chickensp,52,93
and made a sign like:
[Buy]
1
chickensp
$1
It gives me a spawner but it turns out to be a Pig spawner. From what I can tell the Spawner plugin is setting the durability properly on them so maybe I would have to do some more debugging to figure it out. Even in the Essentials trade.log it shows the durability id so I will do more testing later on and see if I can fix it for the next release.

I will have to do some testing and recompile for the newest Spigot. It was compiled against whichever the latest version of Spigot was on Feb 24th.

It might be that you have to reload your permissions or something. Or it might be that I have to update the plugin which I was hoping to do by the end of the month.

You might be able to use Essentials but maybe not. It has been reported it used to work and then reported that it still doesn't work. So I do want to test that some time though and make it work but I've never used Essentials. If it helps, supposedly you used to be able to use a format like: [Buy] 1

Posted Mar 29, 2015not sure whats goin on but when i create a spawner.... say ... a rabbit spawner and place it down, i can see the rabbit inside the cage. but nothing spawns...... and yes im surrounded by grass. if.... while in survival i hit the spawner one time, pigs begin to spawn and keep spawning even though there is still a rabbit inside the cage. this happens to all mob types.
im on spigot 1.8.3 and using spawner v2.0
didnt post a startup log because there is absolutely no errors in console to report but will if you need it.

Posted Mar 23, 2015I have give a group spawner.break.all and spawner.mine.all but when the group breaks the spawner it just keeps appearing back ( they are using silk touch)and when i break it( I'm op) it breaks but disappears and in creative mode i can break in and get it back. i need help
