SoundsReloaded
This is my first cleaned up, actually useful, and not completely buggy plugin on bukkit.
What does it do?
It plays sounds of course!
Just simply do, /soundme <SOUND>, and you will hear it in-game!
Commands:
/soundme <SOUND> | Plays that sound for you!
/soundp <PLAYER> <SOUND>[b] | Plays that sound for <PLAYER> specified
[b]/soundall <SOUND>
/sound | Will Display information, and give you a link to find sounds!
/sounds | Will display link to find sounds
Permissions:
- sound.sounds List available sounds
- sound.soundme Play a sound
- sound.soundp Play a sound for another played
- sound.soundall Play a sound for everyone!
- sound.sound General plugin info/help. (Given by default)
Coming Soon
These are my plans for the plugin so far:
[*]Tell you when you don't have a correct sound
[*]Sound Signs!
[*]Anything you suggest down below!
[/list]
Sounds can be found here:

Posted Jun 24, 2013so is there still no command block support? i'd like it so that when a pressure plate gets pushed, it triggers a command block with /soundall ambience_thunder. this way, it doesnt have to be typed by me and is strictly based on whether or not the pressure plate is pushed. Thanks!

I will work on that next. I wont be at my coding computer for like 2 days, unfortunately. Expect a working console/command block version hopefully on thursday, or friday.

Posted May 20, 2013So you're able to play sounds from the vanilla game, are you also able to play its music or only the music from music discs?

Yes, but it meant changing the client, not the server. You would need a client mod.

Really? I used to use a Minecraft client and it referred to a raw .png file to provide capes.

NO:P It is getting the code from bukkit. The site just shows you a list of them. It is not possible

Its able to play sounds being referenced from an external site, right? I don't code java much but I know how most plugins work, herpy derp. Aren't you able to just put the songs on the same site? I can send you the .mp3/.ogg or whatever format you need them in if you want.

Music discs? I will look into that, for sure:)
And I know about the internal error when you dont have a correct sound. I will see if I can figure out a way around that.

Posted May 18, 2013You should make it able to play music! Also, epic plugin, me likey.
EDIT: Bug found, when you try to play a sound that doesn't exist, it spams the console with an internal server command!

1. What exactly do you mean? Like...every 20 seconds a sound plays? 2. I really wanted to do that...however...I would probably have to put them in separately...and I really dont wanna do that. I will look into this more, however.

Posted May 15, 2013Idea: 1. How bout an config where you can schedule sounds to play for the whole server?
2. a command for a list of sounds (ie, /sound list)

Unfortunately, I do not BELEIVE this is possible...without client-side changes. I will look into it, and let you know.
BTW everyone, I am uploading the basic version now, and will add permissions tonight, for sure, and you can probably download that one tomorrow. I may do some other stuff tonight, we will see.
