Sneak Thief

Don't have any tools in your inventory? Too lazy to find resources? Install this plugin and your players will be able to steal from other people's inventory! When they sneak and right-click a player, an inventory window will open and they can drag stuff from and to their inventory!

Quick installation

Put sneakthief.jar in the plugins directory (e.g. C:\craftbukkit\plugins\)
Restart the server.
(edit the configuration)
Done! Now steal some!

Permission nodes (1.1 and up)

	Permission node	Default
Every single node	sneakthief.*	op
/sneakthief command	sneakthief.admin	op
Every single pickpocket node	sneakthief.pickpocket.*	op
Can steal from other's inventory	sneakthief.pickpocket.cansteal	true
Cannot be stolen from	sneakthief.pickpocket.no-steal	op

Protection flags (1.1 and up)

Residence: 'allow-steal'. ["true", "false"] (bugged in ST 1.1, use ST 1.1_01)
WorldGuard: 'allow-steal'. ["allow", "deny"]
"true"/"allow" if it's allowed to rob people. Otherwise "false"/"deny".

Bukkit doesn't work with all plugins. The plugin has to keep up to date with Bukkit, similar to how Bukkit has to keep up with Minecraft. If the plugin is not on the same build as Minecraft, then it's unlikely to work as of recent; mostly due to the large additions and changes that have been happening since release.

Well I'm using CB 1.3.2 -R0.1 now and sneak thief 1.1_01 does not work with it so he kinda does have to update his plugin, craftbukkit doesn't update it for him!

Can You make it so You can't open anothers player inventory but it will steal random item from his inventory please?

He doesn't have to update it to 1.3.1, Bukkit updates its .jar and it works with every plugin. Which is one of the best perks of having bukkit.

Hello, there's a dupe item bug, if you have inventory open of a player and then the player disconnect, you can steal anything from the player and the player will still have the items

I always get the Message "tool unbound" if i sneak and rightclick on a user...

Must be something with worldedit... but can't find something to disable...

Non-ops will be able to pickpocket other non-ops. You can't steal from ops by default.

Epic idea for a plugin! If I didn't use permissions, though, would non-Ops be able to pickpocket and be pickpocketed?

Looks like my message didn't come through yesterday...

Change the other groups so they don't have the permission (sneakthief.pickpocket.cansteal: false). They have permission because when it's not set for a specific user, it's defaulted to 'true'.

Hey for some reason the players have the permission to use this and i dont want them to have it unless they buy it. with my point system im doing.....

so how do i change ti so they dont have permission to use it

I cant get the plugin to work when i stat the server launcher it says "could not load plugins\Sneakthief.jarr in fo* lder org.bukkit.plugin.InvalidPluginException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sk89q/worldgaurd/protection/flags/stateflag" and then of other crazy java language can someone please help?
