Smooth Flight

Table of Contents

A simple flight plugin for all users on a server

Details:

If you are holding a feather and hold right click, you will fly in the direction you are facing.

The longer you fly, the hungrier you get.

Features:

Normal Flight (right click with feather)
Slow Flight (sneak and right click with feather)
Hover (left click with feather)
Smoke Trail
Variable hunger toll

Configuration:

tool should be set to an item on this list:

I installed SmoothFlight 2.4 on my CB#2060 and I am getting spam messages in console such as below:

Do you know why this is happening?

The messages disappear as soon as I remove this plugin.

permissions are not working with PermissionsBukkit, also, is there any way to disable the spam "You need more feathers" message?

Just a suggestion: since this plugins flying is very....iffy.. I suggest using the creativemode code for flying so when you type /fly its just like creative, with out the items, if possible of course!

the problem is that if I give the player nocheat permission, he can fly with a mod like cjb mod pack.

I use PEX. Also, for anyone having a problem of people getting kicked, i'd recommend getting flightcontrol as well. Give the people you want flying this's permission and that's permission and its smooth sailing.

You need to give the user the NoCheat flight check permissions.

As for me, does this plugin have PEX support?

Just wanted to report that while I'd seen this give an error previously and taken it off my server in our 1.1 > 1.2.3 transition, loaded this today and its working as expected with no errors in console. Thinking it might have been a bukkit error, we were using a dev build before the beta build came out.

I have problems with this plugin, I use nocheat and The player can not fly much that the server get a spam msg that the player got kicked!

Add support of multiplay tools, so you can type: tool: feather, string, diamond_pickaxe and stuff like that and maybe something like "ALL" to enable it with everything :)

Just some suggestions that came to my mind as I tested it.

Really don't like that players are falling when they run out of food. Want them to stay floating... come down safely, eat... and go back up. Feel that a player should be allowed to hover, go afk, and come back in 5 minutes and be at 1 hp, but alive.
