Commands

/smileychat can also be /sc
/smileychat Get information.
/smileychat reload Reloads Config.
/smileychat smileys [type] Shows list with all smileys. [type] can be "misc", "weather", "cards", "directions", "chess" and "zod".
/smileychat art Shows list with all ascii-art smileys.

Latest version of SmileyChat has been tested and CONFIRMED WORKING on 1.7.9-R0.2 with:
- Essentials/Chat - 2.13.1
- mCore - 7.2.1
- Factions - 2.4.0
- heroChat - 5.6.7
- mcMMO - 1.5.0
- AutoMessage - 2.5.2 - Use this command: "/am add <list> [index] [Message with smileys]"
SmileyChat has PROBLEMS with these plugins:
- LiveChat (Chat: ✖, Signs: ✔, Commands: ✔)
- mChat(Chat: ✖ except /global /local, Signs: ✔, Commands: ✔)

Bugs

If you think the smileys are too small, use a bigger font.( as shown on the minecraft wiki this will be possible in future mc versions.)

You can change the input. instead of happy: ':)' you can change it to happy: '*:)'. then they have to type *:) to get ☺ and :)) will just output :)).

Strange, do you get any errors from essentials group manager?

Edit: I installed essentials groupmanager on my test server and everything is working.

When I updated It broke Essentials Group Manager :(

Please help! :)

UPDATE:
Well, looks like it was Essentials Group Manager!

I added a moderator rank and it broke. Oh well. I do a frequent reset every so often!

Note to others: When joining my server (LISTED IN THE SERVERS BOX IN THIS PLUGIN POST) it may not be done yet because of a reset :D

I fixed the /list command, you can use "/smileychat smileys"

And you are asking for a text output on multiple lines. In the config this is impossible, but I can code it in my plugin. be aware this will mess up chat if there are too many players chatting.

Well apperently you are using the cmd /list in the plugin.yml because when the plugins disabled /list works like it should. When its enabled, it returns nothing.

And ya, i figured if i have the plugin for all the symbols why not make it also do other stuff.

the list command is /sc list or /smilechat list, so I don't know why essentials uses that command. Lol, your are using my plugins as a chat clearing plugin?

Thats really strange, my plugin only controls chat. maybe a plugin that controls your players and serverstatus can cause this problem.

I have a plugin.yml with the permissions smileychat.* and the children are:
smileychat:chat.*:true
smileychat.sign.*:true
smileychat.command.*:true
smileychat.update:true
smileychat.reload:true
smileychat.list:true
smileychat.info:true
so I don't think I made a mistake. if you think I made a mistake, you can always help me :).

I gave myself smileychat.* and I don't have permission to use anything. Have you actually implemented the wildcard node yourself, or are you assuming we use a permission manager that implements them?

im using it now also nice plug in maybe in the future you can add more options like chat color and prefixes and suffixes support maybe not a full blown with channels that gets confusing but a good solid chat plug in
