Slot Lock

Features

Lock any item in any slot. You can easily do this with the lockhand command, and all 1.8 items like player skulls and banners are supported!
You can lock different items in the same slot for different people using perms. You can also make per-world locks with world perms in PEX or GM.

Commands

/sl reload
/sl lockhand <perm> (Sets for item in hand)
/sl lockhand <perm> <slot>
/sl setCommand <player/console> <command>
/sl setCanUse <true/flase> (Sets for item in hand)
/sl world <enable/disable> <world>

Permissions

Permission to use the /reload or /help commands:

"slot.lock.commands" allows you to use slot lock commands.

"slot.lock.drop" allows you to drop from locked slots.

Also whatever permissions you define in the slots configuration.

Configuration/Installation

1. Drop the plugin into your plugins folder and restart the server.

2. Lock slots as wanted using the commands.

3. Change enabled worlds and other things only using commands.

NO support will be proved for people who manually edit the config!

MC Stats

This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that mcstats.org collects server info like: A unique identifier, The server's version of Java, Whether the server is in offline or online mode, The plugin's version, The server's version, The OS version/name and architecture, The core count for the CPU, The number of players online, and the Metrics version. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true. For more information, see the guidelines.

I pasted your example of the info book into books.yml then pasted the slot 8 example into my config and when i did /sl reload all of the items in the slots disappeared. :l

Do you think you could explain a little more how to make a book? Here's my config. I want the Server Info & the Donation Information to be the books.

#Just put - <all> to enable all worlds.
#slotlock contains the players slots you want locked (0-39).
#(0-8) are the hot-bar, (9-35) are the inventory, and (36-39) is the armor.
#item is the item locked in the slot, amount is the amount of items,
#permission is the permission node you must have for the slots to be locked, 
#name is the item name, and lore is the item lore.
#The book section is for what book name in the book file will be used.
#Command is the command that will be run, null for none.
#Backpacks make it so you only start with the quick bar and armor bar.
#Then when you craft the 3 backpack sizes, you unlock more slots.
#Backpacks unlock the slots in their slots section.

Fixed it man. Thanks for trying to help.

1. Had to remove the '§' symbols to get rid of the error in the console. Said it was invalid character. Weird though because I had the '§' symbols in config on my old server when i was using this plugin.

2. Capitalization is important. World name is MainSpawn but in the config I just had mainspawn.

Great plugin man, keep it up! Will continue using on every server I own.

The problem is because you have the book "info" defined in your config, but you don't have the book in your books.yml

I understand But in chest commands GUI config you can set a menu to open with a command example: /menu will open a menu that you configured. This plugin will work with all other command but the command that I configured in chest commands. and also when you press Q you can still drop the item but it wont leave your inventory, It like duplicates the item.

I have an issue, when somebody dies all hi items (excepting those that are set in the config) are dropped. The gamerule "keepInventory" is set to true. If I remove the plugin the inventory starts to work fine.

I have tried with 1.7.2 R0.3, 1.7.2 R0.2, 1.7.2 R0.1, 1.7.5, Spigot and nothing...
