SkyWars - Battle against players in a sky environment
Schematic creation
- 1) Build your map
- 2) Place a BEACON block to define a spawn point (somewhere above the island, the glass box will be created automatically)
- 3) Make a schematic out of it with WorldEdit
- 4) Place schematic in the plugins/SkyWars/schematics directory (format: name.schematic)
Installation
- Download SkyWars.jar and put it in your plugins/ directory
- Place your schematics in the plugins/SkyWars/schematics directory
- Set the lobby with /sw setlobby
- Place stone pressure plate in the lobby world for players to join a game

Commands

| /sw reload | skywars.command.reload | Reloads the chests, kits and the plugin.yml |
| /sw score | skywars.command.score | Shows your current point balance |
| /sw score <player> | skywars.command.score.others | Shows current score balance of given player |
| /sw score set <player> <balance> | skywars.command.score.set | Sets the score balance for the given player |

This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Not that I know of but i haven't really played around with that. I think it should be possible to use two enchantments though.

Do you have NoLagg or ClearLagg? You could probably set up a schedule, or if your server is active enough, allow admins to clear unused loaded chunks. Both plugins come with efficient systems for unloading useless chunks.

That's interesting. I have at least 6 schematics, and only one world: Island-0. The plugin just pastes the schematics into that world. I assumed that is how it is supposed to work. Has anyone had it creating more worlds?

Posted Mar 11, 2014For some reason this plugin keeps a crazy amount of chunks loaded, after a while 270.000 chunks loaded, also eats up al the ram because of al the chunks that are loaded. resulting in a crash.

Well , that's funny because I currently have 11 of them and island-0 is the only world coming up ( I had this world creation thing but I messed around with the config and fixed it , didn't want five thousand worlds in my server file ) :)

Posted Mar 10, 2014Hi, I was wondering how to stop players from losing their items in regular worlds after dying in SkyWars.
When players die in the void, it's fine and they re-spawn back in the lobby and their items are still on their character in my regular worlds.
However, when a player is killed by damage they re-spawn in the main server spawn and their inventories are empty. Is there anyway to correct this? Thanks!
Also, I have save inventories set to true.

I am pretty sure it only creates one world for each map, unless you change settings I have one map, and it only created world 'island-0'

It happens sometimes due to the settings you've changed in the config ..I think that if you put island-per-row : 1 then it creates more worlds

Fixed >> Turns out that essentials isn't that much of an "optional" requirement when it comes to Kit Enchantments : )
Another Question >> Is there a way to add 2 enchantments instead of just one?
ex. - 276 1 unbreaking:3 sharpness:5 ??

Try restarting your server. For some reason, /sw reload isn't adding new schems for me, so that could be the problem (if it tells you No schematics available)

but all other parts of skywars work? Also if it was kits i made a mistake sorry. For kits you actually have to do this: - 276 1 sharpness:5. SO: [itemid] [#ofitems] [Enchantment:level]
