SimplisticReloader
Introduction
If you frequently reload your server at inconvenient times for players (a lot for times for my server), and players wonder what the lag is about and you are too lazy to tell them, this plugin alerts them and does more than the standard reload. This is written for Minecraft 1.7.9 and higher.
As an OP or permission-holder types the better reload command, /reload+, the server will alert your players about the reload that is starting. The server then saves player data and various configurations in the background. The server then follows the default reload system and when completed, the server will alert players with a message.
Commands
- /reload+ - Allows a more comprehensible and safer reloading of the server
- /stop+ - Allows a more comprehensible stopping of the server
Installation
Installation is very simple. After you download the JAR file, drag it into the "plugins" folder and reload your Bukkit server with the default /reload, which will then allow the new /reload+ and /* stop+ commands.
Configuration
This plugin has a config.yml file in the "SimplisticReloader" directory of the "plugins" folder. The configuration file default values and settings are shown below:
- Reload_Message: Server Reload in Effect - The message shown to alert players of the reload
- Stop_Message: Server Shutdown in Effect - The message shown to alert players the reload is complete
- Reload_Complete_Message: Server Reload Complete - The message shown to alert players of a server shutdown
- Reload_Color: e - The hexadecimal color value of the reload message
- Stop_Color: c - The hexadecimal color value of the stop message
Permissions
This plugin now supports permission nodes!
- SimplisticReloader.reload+ - Allows holder to perform /reload+
- SimplisticReloader.stop+ - Allows holder to perform /stop+

you need op cause /reload is for or a person with a specific node if your in the owner group u dont have to be op to do /reload since you have all the permissions

Posted Aug 10, 2012Any reason we must have OP to use this? I dont usually play as on OP on my server since the author of mcMMO thinks the OP should have 4x xp gains. I'd love to be able to still use this, As of now its disabled as I dont feel like opping myself, running then command, then de-opping myself each time I need to use this plugin.

Posted Apr 16, 2012Thank you for this, I've wanted a plugin like this for a while! I know it's in alpha, and I'm sure you have plans for the future. (since you don't have a tickets page that I can see)
Features you could add:
- a config, color change, message change, etc.
- what to save before reloading
- option to disable default reload commands
These are just some suggestions, thanks.
