SimpleVanish
This plugin allows players with permission, to turn invisible and spy on other players. Players can also issue a command to see who is vanished, or simply press tab, whoever's name is dark red, is vanished. (Please note that if your name is longer than 14 characters, it will not turn red when you vanish.) Players without permission to see vanished players, will not see players using the tab button. Enjoy!

Shows vanish mode being toggled on/off.
Shows OPJewelz as vanished, on the tab list. All people with simplevanish.see will have the ability to see players that are vanished in the tab list, and their names will be red!
Commands:

| simplevanish.status.self | Allows player to check their own vanish status using the /vanishstatus command. (but not another player's) |
| simplevanish.status.others | Allows player to check another player's vanish status using the /vanishstatus command. (but not their own) |
| simplevanish.status.* | Allows players to check any player's vanish status using the /vanishstatus command. (including their own) |
| simplevanish.see | Allows players to see all other vanished players! |

Posted Oct 14, 2012i downloaded the latest build, dragged it into my plugins folder and started my server but this plugin isnt working and it gets like 15 lines of error. i have 2 other mods on (chestrestock and simplecensor) but those have no problems. i have a mac if that makes any difference

Posted Oct 13, 2012SimpleVanish v0.4 is awaiting approval from the BukkitDev Administrators. This fixes the bugs with vanishing and un-vanishing as well as removes join/leave messages for vanished players. If a player dies while vanished, the message also will not be displayed. Sorry for the freakishly long wait on this. Edit: Jar is no available for download, enjoy!

Posted Sep 28, 2012If it is possible, I'd like to see this have a join vanished node in this ( simplevanish.join ), that hides both the <player> joined message and automatically vanishes that player.

That is a good idea, I'll add that while fixing the issue with the plugin. Also, the commands will most likely change to '/v' or '/vanish' and '/reappear'.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you guys like it. Also, there was a bug that I didn't realize until today where players toggled vanish off then on, then when they tried to toggle it off again, it would reply that they were no longer invisible. I'm very sorry for that issue, and it's been fixed. There were also some color changes from dark red, to red. If anyone finds any other issues, or if you have any suggestions, no matter what they are, just post them here!

If you want help on making the vanish happen, go here. That is a link to the vanish API tutorial by Amaranth. Also, the only problem with adding a [v] to their name, is that minecraft itself can only handle 16 character long usernames. Adding color to a name, adds one character I'm pretty sure, and adding [v] would add another 4, including the space. Note that if I find that this is not true, then I will surely add two config options, one to ask if they would like the [v], and one to ask if they would like the color. If both are set to true, then both will be enabled. Thanks for the suggestion! :D

Posted Aug 2, 2012How about adding a prefix instead of name color in tab? In most servers I guess name colors are already altered. Maybe [V] prefix ? Or suffix ?
Awesome plugin though. Some Vanish plugins seem to get approved, or then this is just "proof" that vanish plugins get approved also.
Can I have source code to see how you make the vanish happen? I am just curious.
