SimpleProtect
A simple region protection plugin for servers that are just starting out, or that want peace of mind that their structures will be there the next day. This plugin prevents all players (except the one who defined the region) from breaking blocks within the protected areas. With easy to use commands and an easily understandable structure, SimpleProtect is perfect for SMP and creative servers with populations of any size!
Requirements
- Installation of the Vault plugin (http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/vault/)
Installation
- Just drag and drop into your server's plugin folder.
IMPORTANT
If you have a SimpleProtect folder already in your plugins folder, just copy over the regions.txt file after moving the old folder and running the updated plugin once.

Posted Dec 15, 2013Plugin works perfectly, but to do point 1 you have to be on survival. Doing large areas makes the server crash so limit it to small areas at a time. Otherwise, great plugin! Just what I was looking for. One suggestion I would make is to have a command that you could allow pvp or deny it from the area selected. :) Thanks, haydenaa.

Posted Jul 12, 2013I'm using bukkit 1.6.2 Mineconomy, and Vault. With my admin account set to 9,999,999 in the bank, I tried using this plugin. It seems to work with small areas but won't protect large areas. It gives me the same error message "Not enough funds" I tried changing the values in the config file but it still doesn't work.

Posted Oct 25, 2012Love the plugin. I run a tekkit server and this plugin won't allow normal players to protect. Is this a bug or on purpose? It only allows ops to protect.

Posted Aug 3, 2012Does this plugin protect against chest, dispensers, and other things like levers, buttins? If so, could you make it configurable, lets say, for example, so players can only open chests?
Oh, and will it be working for 1.3.1 any time soon?
Thanks, Dem' folks of the final frontier

I would be grateful if you could help me out! I'm trying to use this plugin to protect portals.

Posted May 29, 2012Can you assign Horizontal and Vertical protection limits per permissions group? And have an option in the config for auto sky to bedrock?
This way we could limit players from making larger than say 20x20 regions but still allow them infinite blocks from sky to bedrock, or only allow up to 20x20x20.
