SimplePenalty allows you to set a monetary penalty for players when they die, also know as a death penalty. I created this plugin when I needed one for my server, but couldn't find any plugins that were simple and straight forward.
Dependencies:
Vault
Commands:
Currently none
Configuration:
Check the generated config.yml for details.
Permissions:
Permission Node
Explanation
SimplePenalty.ignore
Causes user to not be penalized on death
SimplePenalty.reload
Allows the user to use /simplepenalty to reload settings
SimplePenalty uses SuperPerms, so it should work with all permissions systems.
You can mark the "Export Java source files and resources" option in the last meny when you export your plugin. The source files will be in YourPlugin.jar/src
[SimplePenalty] Enabling SimplePenalty v1.3
[SimplePenalty] Disabled due to no Vault dependency found!
I can't get it to work.
I have the latest craftbukkit version and Vault version. The config file doesn't get generated.
I don't use github or anything. The code isn't obfuscated, so just decompiling it should give you the original source(or close to it). Do you still want me to upload the source somewhere?
I think I found the cause. I forgot to update the config version number within the plugin. v.1.5 should have this updated/working. If it still happens, delete the SimplePenalty folder and let it build the config file itself. Then, it should work.
Just uploaded v1.4, it will appear after Bukkit has reviewed it.
There are some changes to the config, and the newer version is auto-generated. The previous config will be moved to old-config.yml. Settings need to be manually reconfigured, sorry.
Just uploaded v1.3, it will appear after Bukkit has reviewed it.

v1.3 has multiworld support so that you can disable certain worlds. I might add support for per-world penalty amounts in the future if there is enough demand for it.
Just uploaded v1.2, it will appear after Bukkit has approved it.

I can't reproduce the problem on my test server. Can you use /version and /version Vault, then post the output here?

Very strange. I've been unable to reproduce this, and nobody else seems to have this issue, as far as I know. Could be a plugin conflict.

Please post your config. I'm almost certain it has something to do with version numbers.
