SimpleNews is a very lightweight plugin that allows you to deliver news, information and announcements to your users. It is a far more elegant solution than trying to fit everything into the server MOTD!

Posted Jul 7, 2012Every single other news plugin either depends on Vault or SQL, weighs in at 4.1 MB (I WISH I was kidding about this one), or crashes the server when you input the news command.
Please for the love of god update. I can't believe I ever took a simple text output script for granted.

Can you please add scheduled news announcements?
Since all the announcement plugins are inactive and not working maybe you can help me out?
News can also be announcements right?
