Maybe you set the particles in your options menu to none or minimal.

Downloaded the 1.7.9 version, the HUD looks nice and the chat messages are great too, but all of that is for nothing if the particles don't actually show up? I've been trying various particle plugins, so far they've either been spammy, sends particles flying like 10-20 blocks away or it doesn't work.

Hi, i have successfully loaded SimpleTrails onto my server. After reloading, i've selected a trail from the GUI given when doing the /trails command. After selecting one, it gave me a message that i've selected a specific trail but the trail does not seem to have activated for me. I've tried this for all trail types, any idea why?

in minecraft 1.8 cannot be seen particles :(
