Simple Prefix: Allows you to easily manage your chat with prefixes and suffixes.

This plugin uses prefixes and suffixes that are very easy to configure, from inside of an yml config file. You apply prefixes and suffixes per user or group in the /SimplePrefix/config.yml file.

Alternatively, Simple Prefix can be configured to get the prefixes and suffixes from Vault supported chat plugins instead (PermissionsEx, bPermissions, etc.)

You can fully alter the chat format. For example, you could achieve the following ingame:

[Admin] Flabaliki: my message here

Or even, just completely mix and match the template to get the look you want.

A developer API is available to those who wish to access prefixes and suffixes and use them within their own plugin. Click "Metadata" above.

That's basically what this is, just a lightweight plugin for quickly getting your prefixes and suffixes to work, however you want.

Read the Configuration page for instructions on how to use the plugin.

Offline mode server support (using usernames instead of UUIDs)

Installation:

Place Simple Prefix.jar into your plugins folder
Restart or reload your server
Edit your config.yml (see here for info)

/spr w <world> [nickname]	Add/remove a world nickname	simpleprefix.command.editWorld
/spr reload	Reloads config from file	simpleprefix.command.reload
	Permission for all commands	simpleprefix.command.*

To remove a prefix or suffix, leave [prefix] and [suffix] out of the command

Use the permission simpleprefix.<group name> to add a person to a group.

As of version 2.3.1, this plugin uses an automatic updater to check if you are running the latest version, and if not, it downloads the latest version. To disable this please set "Auto-Update" to "false" in the config.yml file.

Please read the Configuration page thoroughly before asking for help, because it's likely your question/problem is answered there.

Can we get an update to the latest craftbukkit please? I am running a CB 1.4.7-R1.0 and the lack of update puts a lot of strain on my server. I really like this simple and easy to use plugin and would hate to have to dig and find another one instead. :\

I've tried ever combination how do I add a color and it underlined or italic using this <username>: suffix: '&b[Co-Owner]&l' all help is appreciated!

I tried that, but thanks for the reply. In the game I can do it fine, only from the console it refuses to work.

The only text I receive in the console (after using the command) is:

EVERY time i do any commands it says more commands at blablabla.com and when i edit the configs it does nothing :( please help. oh ps the blablabla.com isint actualy that its like http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/simple-prefix/ or something.

I was wondering if you could implement your plugin to work with Essentials /list? I recently switched to this plugin, and it's very nice. If you could implement /list coverage, this would be a perfect plugin. :)

I know it has been fixed for Factions, but will there be a fix for Herochat? Or is there already some kind of fixe I missed?

If Herochat is the problem, is there a good replacement I can find?

Could you make it possible to add/remove prefix from console? Somehow I'm not able to do it from there, I want to link it to buy-able prefixes :)

Give yourself the right permission, otherwise you can't use it. simpleprefix.command.*

Is it compatible with 1.4.6? Because if i write /spr w or so there comes "/spr help" what can I do?
