Commands

Simple Faction's commands

This page will explain all of the commands currently available in Simple Factions. To be 100% sure on all current commands, remember that /sf help exists in the plugin and always shows all commands.

  • /sf and /f - The base command. For legacy purposes, you can use /f in place of /sf.
  • help (page number) - List of commands and their uses.
  • create <name> - Creates a faction with <name>.
  • join <name> - Joins the faction <name>.
  • invite <name> - Invites <name> to your faction.
  • disband (name) - Disbands your faction, or disbands the faction (name).
  • leave - Leaves your faction.
  • kick <name> - Kicks <name> from your faction.
  • claim - Claims the current chunk that you are in for your faction.Explanation on claims.
  • sethome - Sets your faction's home on the block you are standing on.
  • home - Teleports to your faction's home. If your home is blocked or dangerous, you will teleport to the nearest "safe" block.
  • map - Draws a map in the chat of the surround faction land. Also displays with Y layer you are on, since the chunks are 3D.
  • info (name) or f (name) - Displays information on either your faction or the faction (name).
  • player (name) or p (name) - Displays information on either you or the player (name).
  • list (page) (filter) - Displays a list of all factions on the server in a paged format; you can optionally specify a filter; such as ally, enemy, or neutral.
  • autoclaim - Toggles autoclaim. Autoclaim automatically claims any new land that you touch for your faction.
  • chat <channel> or c <channel> - Switches to the specified chat channel. You can join one of the default channels, such as global (public), local, enemy, ally, or truce. You can also specify a custom chat channel. Tell your friends the name of the channel in order for them to join as well.
  • access <type(p/r/f)> <name(player/rank/faction)> <block(block)> <allow(truce/false)> <this chunk only?(true/false)> - The very powerful access command. Examples on this page.
  • promote <name> - Promotes the player <name> to officer.
  • demote <name> - Demotes the player <name> to member.
  • leader <name> - Adds a new leader to the faction. Contrary to Factions; it does not remove the command sender from the leader position.
  • setrank <name> - Sets a custom rank for the player <name>. Custom rank permissions are defined with the access* command.
  • top <time/deaths/kills> - Shows top statistics for the server.
  • set <safezone/warzone/peaceful> <true/false> - Sets a flag for either safe, war, or peaceful faction. This can be used for admin purposes (such as pvp arenas or spawn zones) or to enable peaceful factions. You can have multiple warzone factions, for example, all with different names. Example: /f c a = /sf chat ally
