SignShop v5

SignShop allows you to set up physical shops by punching a chest with your items you want to sell, then punching a sign (while holding redstone dust). It's easy to set up, and even easier to customize!
This plugin requires Vault and a vault compatible economy plugin.

Example SignShop

This is an example of how to set up a [Buy] sign with SignShop. The sign above is linked to a chest containing items. In this example, it will sell an enchanted pickaxe for 600 Waffles (Waffles are our server's currency :-) ).

Signshop determines the percent chance of awarding an item when the shop is set up. So modifying the chest afterward will not change those percentages or items.

Posted Oct 21, 2012Hey, I was wondering if there was any way to make a chest with [DonateHand] take the items that were donated and use them as the items for a [Slot] sign. Sorta like people donating their unused items for other people to sue if they get lucky :P. Just a thought. Thanks :D

Remove shops? You mean, like break the sign? If you can't break the sign, it means you are probably holding redstone in your hands, or the sign isn't yours.

You should still have a [wSell] in your config. The default signs will always regenerate. If you would like to completely prevent [Buy] from regenerating, you will have to edit the config.yml inside of the SignShop.jar

As you know, I am the Boss of SimpleRegionMarket and we have a Problem: The Sell Sign is for SimpleRegionMarket AND SignShop. Maybe you can add that Signs-Title can be chagned from [Sell] to .... [wSell]. Or Somthing like this, but configurable for it. Because me and some other users, dont want to change in SRM, so may you can do the same like SRM and add this.

Place whatever items you want for the kit in the chest. Then create the shop by punching with redstone.

If you know exactly what you're doing then Yes, you can set disableessentialssigns to false.
That will only turn off the warnings about signs possibly conflicting, in the latest SignShop version. It is, however not recommended to mix signs as that will cause unexpected behaviour, by mixing I mean having (for example) Buy signs enabled for both SignShop and Essentials. So be careful.

Posted Oct 15, 2012well i downloaded 2.3.6 from the link on this page, the reason i ask is the setting disableessentialssigns is set to true by default in the config, should i go ahead and set this to false if i wish to use essentials signs?

It depends on what version of SignShop you are using. In the most recent versions, we worked with the Essentials team to come to a better solution. SignShop will warn you on startup if anything is conflicting. SignShop doesn't have a warp sign though, so you should be good to go! SignShop no longer disables any of essentials signs automatically, but warns on conflict.
