SignShop v5
SignShop allows you to set up physical shops by punching a chest with your items you want to sell, then punching a sign (while holding redstone dust). It's easy to set up, and even easier to customize!
This plugin requires Vault and a vault compatible economy plugin.

Example SignShop
This is an example of how to set up a [Buy] sign with SignShop. The sign above is linked to a chest containing items. In this example, it will sell an enchanted pickaxe for 600 Waffles (Waffles are our server's currency :-) ).

No problem, sorry about the confusion, but I wanted to have the documentation current for the SignShop 2 beta. Keep in mind that SS 2 IS a beta, and there are some economy breaking bugs involved with it. Make sure to read the Known Issues section.

Those signs are only available for SignShop 2, which is a beta at the moment. There is nothing special you need to type on the signs, that's one of the reasons SignShop is so simple. Just the name of the sign in brackets, the price on the bottom line, and if you are selling XP, the 3rd line is for that.

i am having a little problem i can get all the signs to work except [iTrade] [iSlot] [Enchant] [Disenchant] is there any where i can find a tutorial on what i need to type on the signs for these ?

Yeah those are probably errors. Go ahead and create a new ticket and paste in your startup log, and any other errors when you use SignShop.

Ok, how will a error string look like? i started the server and for once actually read the text. it did not say anything about errors, but it were some strings with the title " severe". are those the errors?

If this is happening, there are probably errors in your server logs. Check the startup as well. If you find some errors, please create a ticket.

I need a little help. I have got signshop to work, and i have an economy that works, Iconomy working with the mineconomy GUI, whichs seems to work.
The problem I am having is that signshop and Iconomy do not work together. I cannot buy things with the currency I get from Iconomy from a chest with signshop.
A messages pops up where it says that I do not have enough money when Iconomy says that I have the required amount.
Is there something i should check or do you think that i have forgot to do some thing?

If this is happening, then there is probably some sort of error in your server logs. Please create a ticket with all of the relevant information including any errors you are getting. Thanks!
EDIT: Are you using vault with some sort of economy plugin?

Posted Jul 19, 2012i have signshop on my server but it wont let players buy anything. they can sell things just as normal, but they cant buy anything. also, when they sell things they arent getting any money back for the items they sold. what should i do?

The signs will be protected regardless of worldguard. If a player doesn't own the shop, they can't break the sign. Only OPs can break other people's signs. As for the chests, they should be able to break the chests when they become the owner of the region in WG. If not, please create a ticket with the version you are using, and all the relevant info.

Posted Jul 18, 2012So I use the WG chest protections, but my regions are rented. if a player does not pay, and it goes up for sale another player can buy it, but cannot remove these signs or chest. Do you or can you add a break permission. Since the WG protects it if they don't own it.
