SignShop v5

SignShop allows you to set up physical shops by punching a chest with your items you want to sell, then punching a sign (while holding redstone dust). It's easy to set up, and even easier to customize!
This plugin requires Vault and a vault compatible economy plugin.

Example SignShop

This is an example of how to set up a [Buy] sign with SignShop. The sign above is linked to a chest containing items. In this example, it will sell an enchanted pickaxe for 600 Waffles (Waffles are our server's currency :-) ).

Posted Jul 9, 2015Is there a way to make an admin shop that will randomize the item being sold on a set interval? For example, I'd like to set up a shop that sells items and each week the item that it sells is randomly selected.

As far as we know, multiple currencies are not supported in Vault, and therefore, we do not support it.

Posted Jul 5, 2015Can someone explain how to use multi-world shops? IE: how to use a shop for one world only, money only going to that world's account.
(most have an issue that send money to the player, and the player gets the money in the world he is currently in, not the world the shop is in. this is not beneficial for multi-worlds with different economic structures. A more popular world can easily deflate if older players are in a newer world in other words, a bad result. the expected outcome is to have money transfer only to the world the trade occurs in)

Posted Jul 5, 2015Can we get a fix for the [share] sign lagging the entire server for 10 seaconds every time its used, its been like that since I first tried signshop, over multiple versions & multiple versions of spigot too, It cant be used as each time every single player on the server is frozen for about 10 seconds, completely, Seems dramatic since its only paying a second player.

You can always use !player or !owner in place of the username for the buyer, or owner of the shop, respectively. And if that doesn't work for you, you have the option of creating your own custom command signs in the config. Make sure to read our Quick Reference for more information about our !variables and command signs.

Posted Jun 27, 2015Hey, please add full message customisation as I absolutely love this plugin but can't use it on my server as I am not able to change the message or prefix colour schemes and content to fit the server style. This is the only plugin I have found capable of allowing me to create a custom coin exchange system, requiring the exact name to be sold for equivalent virtual currency.

We support any economy that Vault supports. Last time I checked, the Vault author was against supporting multiple currencies, so I don't know if it would work. I do know that people use Craftconomy with SignShop, I just don't know about multiple currencies. That's out of our hands.

Posted Jun 23, 2015I'm going to be using multiworld wallets with Craftconomy. Does SignShops support multiple worlds?
Most plugins do this: player is in WorldB, but a purchase is made at his shop in WorldA. The money he just made does not stay in WorldA, but instead (since he is online) it is transferred to WorldB where he is (it goes to his pocket, pretty much).
What I'm looking for is the shop to do this: Player can be in any world, but if a purchase is made at his shop in WorldA, the money stays in WorldA, even if player is in WorldB or WorldC. While any money from a shop in WorldB the money stays in WorldB, etc.
Can I get confirmation on if it works the desired way? IE: does it work with multiworld account support?

Not a feature, but we do have a bug report open for it. We would invisibly do that in the past to make sure you had room for all the items, it seems something has changed to make that invisible process, visible.

There seems to be a ghost feature/bug, wasn't sure if it was intentional. When you left click a sign to see what it is actually selling, a ghost item appears in your inventory, but then goes away when you click it. Is this a new feature so buyers can see what they are getting? Or a bug?
