SignShop v5
SignShop allows you to set up physical shops by punching a chest with your items you want to sell, then punching a sign (while holding redstone dust). It's easy to set up, and even easier to customize!
This plugin requires Vault and a vault compatible economy plugin.

Example SignShop
This is an example of how to set up a [Buy] sign with SignShop. The sign above is linked to a chest containing items. In this example, it will sell an enchanted pickaxe for 600 Waffles (Waffles are our server's currency :-) ).

The restricted sign does not affect signs in a radius, that's probably a chestshop thing. It will only affect signs you link to it, and if it's destroyed, it will not persist. All you do is link it to a shop as if it were another chest. You can do "/signshop sign restricted" for in game help on how to use the sign (along with other signs).

I'm guessing you have a permission issue, and when SignShop tries to prevent the sign from breaking in creative mode, it can't create the shop, so it doesn't stop it from breaking. Check your server logs for errors.

Posted May 7, 2015when i go to make a signshop and click the redstone on the chest it starts a link but when i try linking it to the sign to finsih the link, it will not crate the signshop it will just break the sign, please help, i even watched few tutorials and im doing exactly what their doing but it still will not work, again please help me, thx

Posted May 7, 2015@Devinish Thanks. I will try that again. There isn't much documentation on the restricted sign. Last time I used it I rendered the signshop signs unusable within about 20 blocks or so...
I will look some more for documentation or youtube video on the restricted sign. Can you break the [restricted] sign after it is linked like the iBuy and iSell signs.

Even if I haven't figured this part out yet it is still one of the best plugins, I should and will donate soon.

There is a way to do that, but it's not automagic. There's two ways to do it. the first way is if you want multiple signs (to have multiple prices), and the second way is if you just want one sign (with the same price every time they rank up).
For multiple signs, what you will want to do is create [Restricted] signs for each of your [Promote] signs. You can use a [Restricted] sign to list permission groups on lines 2, 3, and 4. When you link a [Restricted] sign to any other sign, only the listed groups may use the other sign. This way you will have [Restricted] signs for all of your [Promote] signs, and can list the permission groups allowed to rank up.
The other way involves creating a custom sign in the SignShop config. The custom sign will run the command from your permission plugin that promotes players along the ladder. For help with creating signs that run commands, you can check out the SignShop Quick Reference.

Posted May 2, 2015Is there a way to make signshop [Promote] follow the promotion ladder? Right now I have several classes and the ladders are setup in pex, but with signshop, if they have enough money, they can just skip all the ranks and buy the top rank.

Posted Apr 30, 2015The problem with the plugin is that everyone can click with a redstone on anyone's chest, link it to a sign and steal all the stuff out of it. That's because we are using our own land protection plugin.
Any way to solve this issue?

You totally can. All you have to do is put the name of your rank (aka permission group) on the second line of the sign, and put a price on the fourth line like this...
And as long as you have a permission group called "VIP" it will add them to that group if they use the sign. Check out a list of all of the default signs here if you need more info, and feel free to ask any other questions you might have.

SignShop has built in sign protection. They should not be able to remove your shop unless you have given them permission to do so. I recommend reading our permissions page for more info on that.
