SignShop v5

SignShop allows you to set up physical shops by punching a chest with your items you want to sell, then punching a sign (while holding redstone dust). It's easy to set up, and even easier to customize!
This plugin requires Vault and a vault compatible economy plugin.

Example SignShop

This is an example of how to set up a [Buy] sign with SignShop. The sign above is linked to a chest containing items. In this example, it will sell an enchanted pickaxe for 600 Waffles (Waffles are our server's currency :-) ).

Posted Dec 9, 2013With 1.7.2 and latest worldguard, we get a "shops are not allowed in this region" regardless of what config setting we use. We've given everyone the bypass permission for now but it is a little confusing.

Posted Dec 8, 2013Hi I have a question about this plugin I made a test shop to buy and sell cobblestone its set to buy 10 for 5 and sell 10 for 3 i click the buy sign and it will buy the 10 but when i click the sell it does not sell the items but it will say sell 10 cobblestone for 3?

There are several plugins that we support for chest locking, so we did not include it for SignShop.

Posted Dec 6, 2013Um is this supposed to happen? When I put something up for sale... Instead of somebody buying the item, they can just steal the item from the chest??? One of my players found the chests all the way underground far far away and he stole almost every item! Is this a bug or do I need another plugin to lock the chests?

Provided the second and third lines of your sign are empty, you have no problems there. To make it only sell one at a time, you have to only put one stone in when you activate the sign and chest. AFTER you do that, put in the rest of the stone for sale. The sign will sell the amount of whatever you put in it when you link the sign and chest.

For example:
When a sign is:
[Buy]
$10
It sets to sell everything in the chest for $10. Can i specify something like sell 1 stone in the chest for $1. Sorry i am a noob. Please help

I have not encountered any problems with 1.7.2. If you are having problems, the first place to check is your startup logs. If you find any problems with SignShop, please create a ticket.

Posted Dec 4, 2013Oh, does this work with 1.7.2? Because I can't buy anything from it anymore. I can create it and everything, but when I left click it it tells nothing, and if I rightclick it it doesnt give me it and I dont pay. Tried also iBuy signs.

Posted Dec 3, 2013The plugin works but I don't think its a signshop issue i think its a vault issue because all my plugins that depend on vault work but money does not get exchanged in any way.

Works for me. Keep in mind that the 1.7.2 versions of Minecraft are very buggy and should not be used on live servers. You can read more about our policy on dev and beta builds in our FAQ.

Well, the plugin works, you are able to create stores, it just doesn't make any action when you try and buy and sell from shops.

Umm, I get this: 02.12 12:35:13 [Server] WARNING Wrong location for EntityMinecartChest['entity.MinecartChest.name'/2281411, l='spawn_world', x=-1124.50, y=9.35, z=592.14] in world 'spawn_world'! idk if that has something to do with economy or signshop. andi use iConomy.
EDIT 2: Just changed to BOSEconomy and it works. But, you know what the WARNING is for? :D

Yeah, it is an issue with reading the data that FtB adds to items when the server restarts. FtB does not give us a way to retrieve this data, so it cannot be supported.

We won't be adding that feature because you can just enable AllowVariableAmounts in the config, create a shop buying 1 stack at a time, and SignShop will automatically buy 1 stack if it's available. If you only have 32 items of that type, it will buy those and automatically give you half the money.

We will look into it, but chances are, this is an issue specific to Feed the Beast, and there's nothing we can do about it (short of rewriting the plugin).
