SignShop v5

SignShop allows you to set up physical shops by punching a chest with your items you want to sell, then punching a sign (while holding redstone dust). It's easy to set up, and even easier to customize!
This plugin requires Vault and a vault compatible economy plugin.

Example SignShop

This is an example of how to set up a [Buy] sign with SignShop. The sign above is linked to a chest containing items. In this example, it will sell an enchanted pickaxe for 600 Waffles (Waffles are our server's currency :-) ).

I'm getting the same problem as datamann10. I'm using craftbukkit 1.4.7 r0.1 the plugin is taking the peoples money but it doesn't give them the item. I'm not getting any errors or anything in the console. I just upgraded from the previous version of bukkit and signshop and everything was going good.

What version of craftbukkit and what version of SignShop are you using? Are you getting any errors?

The !xp variable used in the iBuyXp and iSellXp signs will give you the raw amounts, if you add "{raw}" as you have for your sign.

Posted Jan 25, 2013Could you add the line: XpBuy: takePlayerXP{raw}, givePlayerItems,playerIsOp So others can use there xp for something i have xp item shops and it works so good just the xp raw is hard do to needing some way to see the raw xp.

Posted Jan 25, 2013Hi im having a problem. The [iBuy] and all the other things work fine except for [Buy] and possibly [Sell] (not sure, haven tried this out yet.) WHen [Buy] is used, ppl right click and then, the money gets subtracted but they dont get the items, im trying to have jobs, be able o sell their products, as in baker can sell bread he makes, Please help, the server has to be released tomorrow (Saturday the 26st)

SignShop does not have Factions support built in. If something was affecting SignShop's ability to build, it was probably worldguard. If you'd like us to implement some sort of functionality for Factions, go ahead and make a ticket explaining what sort of support you are looking for, but it sounds like something changed with Factions. I'm not sure.

If you'd like to sell one at a time, you can create the shop with only one of the item in the chest. Then afterwards you can stock the chest with more items.

Posted Jan 24, 2013A problem here, please help! I'm running Facitons 1.8.0 and SignShop, SignShop respects worldguard permissions and respected 1.6.x permissions of branch of factions, but now anyone can make a shop from a chest on faciton's territory.
Need help badly.
Server is Running latest Vault and latest PEX.

Players can't seem to use the /money command, says no access yet I cant find the permission node to allow them access, well except from the IConomy plugin, which the server currently doesnt have, am I going to need that?

I assume lores are part of the ItemMeta data. Otherwise, I have no idea what you are talking about. ItemMeta is properly supported by SignShop in a .db file, not saved in the sellers.yml.

Thank you for your response, however, as of 2.5.2 this issue still exists. I have tested making iBuy shops, placing items with lores in, and then restarting the server. The items no longer have their lores. The sellers.yml file does not contain any string data for the items, so as far as I can tell, lores are not being saved in the file.

After a whole lot of source digging and debugging bPerms, it turns out to be a case sensitivity issue. SignShop is asking bPerms about "SignShop.Admin.Day" and bPerms is comparing that to "signshop.admin.day". Yeah ... not the same.
I've forced SignShop to convert all permissions to lowercase which fixes the issue with bPerms in my test env. You can grab the dev build here, do let us know if that addresses your issue.
