SignEdit
Description
This plugin allows you to edit signs while they are still on block/wall they were placed on.
Features
- Logging.. Every edit made to a sign is logged in either console or a separate log file.
- Colours! See the Colours With SignEdit page
- As an added bonus, SignEdit will parse colours when you place a sign.
- SignEdit throws a SignChangeEvent with every edit. This means that if a player is trying to make a sign that they don't have permission to create, they can't! This is compatible with almost every major plugin that uses signs. It also works with HawkEye, so you can see who changed what!

Posted Jul 31, 2012I want to give this to players that own shops so they can easily edit their signs. Will they only be able to edit signs in world guard regions they have build rights in, or will they be able to edit any sign anywhere?

Posted Jul 26, 2012hi i'm trying to edit the sign, Firstly i use the command /signedit 0 test and then left click on the sign. When i left click it (or right click on it) i get the error [SEVERE] Could not pass event PlayerInteractEvent to SignEdit. I have worldguard, lwc and multiverse installed but i don't have group manager. What do you think is causing the problem?

Posted Jun 3, 2012For those that this is not working in multiworlds. If you have GroupManager, you need to add the world in config.yml.
For instance it was not working in my world TerraInsolitus. I forgot to add it. The following is adding TerraInsolitus to the mirrors in config.yml. Now it works.

Posted Jun 3, 2012There should be a way so that I can type /signedit 1 text work more than once. So I can mass edit signs and only enter the command once.

See the ignorecreative directive in the configuration. If this is set to true, when you have a SignEdit request pending, it will cancel the left click event and update the sign. If you like, I can add a directive to toggle between right/left click.
@joshwenke
I'll try to make this for the next version.

Hey boss I'd like to second Josh's request for a possible /signcopy command furthermore I'd like to request selection of the sign to edit to be shifted to right click rather than left. If you happen to be in Creative Mode left clicking = dead sign.
Thanks again boss.

Posted Apr 18, 2012Idea! /signcopy - Turn copying on and off so each sign you place copies the one you had your cursor on first.

I prefer to zip things up before I put them on BukkitDev. If you want to download the .jar itself, you can download it from my website. The link is in the plugin description
