SignColours

Table of Contents

SignColours allows all players on the server, or people with Permissions, to add coloured text to signs. Simply use the # or the & character (depending on which edition you chose) followed by a hexidecimal digit (0-f) to give the rest of that line a colour.

signcolours.* - Allow user to use all colours

Instructions

Colour codes are the same as chat message colours:

using a # in a sign in any other circumstances will keep the # symbol

As an example, adding the text to a sign:

#4WARNING
#6Land Mines
so be #ecareful
(or #fdie#0)

Hello ;) It's works in 1.3.2 you must only watch the source carefully ;)

private final String colourChar = "&";

private final String possibleColours = "0123456789abcdefklmnor";

So it is an example, adding the text to a sign:

&1Hello World

I#ve testet it on 1.3.1 RC2 ( Build 2340 ) and it doesn't work, but i have no Errors!

Tolles Plugin.

1. Kannst du auch reinbringen, dass die Farben im Dunkeln leuchtet? Oder evtl. sogar auch blinken können?

2. Wie beschrift eich am besten ein Schild mit Sonderzeichen, wenn ich diese mit der normalen Tastatur nicht schreiben kann, wie z.B.: "¬"?

May I ask why you make it so complicated?
Tested your output with mine (ColorMe gets this feature, too)
I use:

On any macbook pro 13 inch (or one that has an intel graphics card), signs fail to show their colors unless you are standing at a weird angle. Is there any way that this can be fixed?

The plugin doesn't enable the colors to work. It enables to user's "&"s to be used instead of what it actually is, which is the § Character, which is impossible to get into a sign.
