Sign Utilities
Updated version For CB 1.4+
Requirements:
- Required: Vault: needed for permssion and economy plugins
- Optional: Any permssion and economy plugin listed on vault page
Information:
-Permissions are now in the plugin. Compatible permissionbukkit(with superbridgeperm). -If you have any idea about other useful things I should had, you're welcome! -Delete the config file before using the version 1.2
Description:
SignUtilities give you useful command for signs.First of all it allow you to change the color of the sign, then you can edit the sign without destroying it. Finally a news system has been introduce in this plugin. Just add news to your newsPaper and everyone will just have to rightclick on the sign to see them. Bored by the commands input on your keyboard? Just wrtite [cmd] on the first line of a sign then the command with the arguments as if you write it in the chat tab!

That wont be for a long long time due to the fact they had to start all over on building 1.2. Mojang dumped another update to the 1.2 system which means they have to go throughout the entire code again. I hope you reconsider but I do understand why you wouldnt.

the multiple command on a sign can be a good idee. And i just finished to inplement vault plugin that allow my plugin to support various permssion plugin including permissionex as well as muliple economy plugin for the minecart system. I m probably going to wait the recommented build for 1.2 to be release to release the new update.

right click to select the command, left click to execute?
Also does this work with Permissionsex, i noticed you only have permsbukkit listed and wasnt sure if you just havent updated the OP or if you truely dont support any other perm system. If you dont support any other perms, I would highly suggest adding vault support which means you could easily add a wide variety of perm systems as well as economy support.

Does this work with 2 commands on one sign? IE if I were to create a sign that would have a selection between 2 commands. Like choose or confirm commands?

Posted Mar 22, 2012I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what I am doing wrong. Whenever a user who does not have the signutilities permissions tries to use a sign, he/she cannot access a command typed into the sign. e.g I type [cmd] ascend When a player tries to right click the sign, or use a wireless button, they receive the error "You do not have access to the command" I have tried giving them the respective worldedit command (worldedit.navigation.ascend) with no success.

Posted Mar 18, 2012Nice :) Btw first when you did /scopy and then placed a sign it automatic placed the text on it. But now you have to place it right click sign and /spaste hope you can have a look at it. And how exact does the other name on sign work?

The error in the log is coming from LotteryPlus, i dont know that plugin but i think the error is from this plugin and not mine, but i may be wrong, I suppose you already posted this error on the other plugin page, tell me if the devlopper dont find any error in his code so i start searching for any in mine

Posted Mar 7, 2012Would it be possible to grant the player permissions for using a command sign they don't have permissions from? So i can use this to let user promote there self when they join the server. I used signrank but that don't work with 1.2 anymore.
