Shop allows users to quickly create shops to buy and sell items with little effort and no commands to type!

By simply placing a sign in front of a chest, players can create their own shops to buy or sell items!

IMPORTANT:

SHOP IS NO LONGER BEING UPDATED ON BUKKIT.

IT IS AVAILABLE AS A PREMIUM RESOURCE ON SPIGOT HERE

(You need to create an account on Spigot to view the link)

Features:

No commands required.
No permissions required. (But are supported)
Shops visually display the item they are selling.
Compatible with Tekkit.
Plug and Play.

Have a question? Please read these first.

Optional Commands:

/shop list - displays how many shops exist on the server.
/shop refresh - refreshes the display items on all of the shops. (Requires operator permission)

Conflicting Plugins:

PersonalPickup
BlockPickup

Shop Permissions (optional)

shop.use - allows player to use shops
shop.create - allows player to create shops
shop.destroy - allows player to destroy shops
shop.operator - allows player to bypass shop restrictions and regulations

Shop is by far the easiest to use shop plugin to date and is also the most fun. People on your server will not be able to get enough!

This plugin uses an auto-update system which will detect if your plugin is out of date and automatically download the latest version of the plugin. Learn how to disable this service.

This plugin uses plugin metrics, which collects information and sends it to mcstats.org. You can disable this via /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml if you do not wish to participate in the data collection. Learn more about it here.

I have put many hours of work into this plugin and it is my hope than anyone who enjoys the features it brings to their server will donate.

I am fixing this in the upcoming update as well. Item names, durability, and even enchantments will work in shops as well.

Hello and thanks for a very nice and simple plugin! Glad to hear it will be updated again :D I have one problem tho, if i want to add any "odd" items, like special potions, or nether ward, it does not work. Could you possibly fix this? Because i don't seem to find a way to manually add the item ID.. Keep up the good work!

I am working on an update for this right now. Just finished writing the new file saving system which will allow server owners to see/edit/delete shops right from the file.

EVERYONE, please use Shop v1.3.5, as it is the most stable build, until the next update!

Please use this plugin, as the latest build has a few flaws. Player permissions are automatic, so there is no need to add them. However, if you wish to use them, open the config file and change "usePermissions" from "false" to "true".

List of all permissions can be found above. (There are only four.)

Also, check the sign format, if it is incorrect, the sign will do nothing at all. Please view Creating Shops "http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/shops/pages/creating-shops/"

Hi, im new and also with bukkit but how do i add the permissions and if i open the chests or right-click the signs than nothing happened please help me.

So is there any version of this plugin that's working properly with the 1.6.4 recommended build? When I tried it with the dev build earlier it broke.

Players can change the admin shops to any item. The admin shops dont also work. I didnt try normal shops i had to remove it.

Bug? I hit the sign and the object appears on top of the chest, but it does not go to the next step. I get this in my console (I'm running Bukkit Dev 2908):

So, any chance we'll see a Barter/Trade system with this shop plugin? :D

Like instead of using economy currency, or a specific item set as "money" across all shops.. Is there any chance it could be setup so each shop could specify an item they'd like to receive as payment? Sorta like an AFK trade system some MMO's have?

This would make it more compatible with user-quest driven RP systems. Players with items they'd like to sell for various jobs, could set their choice of items they'd like the buyer to collect, for the items they sell in that shop. So 1 player could have a shop which requires a stack of logs for a gold sword, and a different player could setup a shop that takes coal as payment for a few Iron blocks they want to sell. Or whatever anyone would like to do.

I think it would make this plugin infinitely more useful! ;D

This is more of a problem with ClearLag than my plugin. The developer of ClearLag just removes all floating items without checking their data to see f they are display items. I am making a temporary fix for the next update which will refresh all shop items on server refresh but until ClearLag implements this fix his plugin will override mine.

@Giga11 SnowGears might already be working on that. He knows that when items from ClearLag are erased, the shop displays are also removed!
