Shop
Shop allows users to quickly create shops to buy and sell items with little effort and no commands to type!
By simply placing a sign in front of a chest, players can create their own shops to buy or sell items!
IMPORTANT:
SHOP IS NO LONGER BEING UPDATED ON BUKKIT.
(You need to create an account on Spigot to view the link)
Features:
- No commands required.
- No permissions required. (But are supported)
- Shops visually display the item they are selling.
- Compatible with Tekkit.
- Plug and Play.
Have a question? Please read these first.
Optional Commands:
/shop list - displays how many shops exist on the server.
/shop refresh - refreshes the display items on all of the shops. (Requires operator permission)
Conflicting Plugins:
PersonalPickup
BlockPickup
Shop Permissions (optional)
shop.use - allows player to use shops
shop.create - allows player to create shops
shop.destroy - allows player to destroy shops
shop.operator - allows player to bypass shop restrictions and regulations
Shop is by far the easiest to use shop plugin to date and is also the most fun. People on your server will not be able to get enough!
This plugin uses an auto-update system which will detect if your plugin is out of date and automatically download the latest version of the plugin. Learn how to disable this service.
This plugin uses plugin metrics, which collects information and sends it to mcstats.org. You can disable this via /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml if you do not wish to participate in the data collection. Learn more about it here.

I downloaded your emerald drop plugin and dropped it into my plugins folder and nothing happened. It didn't load at all. Do I need a newer craftbukkit version? I am currently running 1.6.2-R0.1
Update: Never mind, I found the config file. It was under the name of customdrops so I didn't know. Thanks! The plugin works great! You should definitely make it an official bukkit plugin.

Thanks for the reply. Version 1.3.5 is very buggy. Could you maybe release a pre-release or 1.4.1 as a hot fix for the display bug?

I would recommend using 1.3.5 until I release 1.4.5 (soon) as the display items in that version work fine.

Posted Sep 7, 2013@Bomave +1, ShowCase is dead, ShowCaseStandalone is buggy as fuck, and GrandExchange has too many features (including trading with commands, which I don't want and cannot disable).
This seems to be the only shop plugin that suits my needs. :(

I know this might be a bit to much to ask considering you are working on and maintaining so many plugins, but do you think you could contact the developer of simpleloot and ask if you could take over the plugin. It goes hand and hand with this plugin and it had been outdated for a while now. It makes mobs/plants drop emeralds, or other things at a configurable rate. This can be useful because hostile mobs could drop emeralds at a 40% chance, therefor making emerald more common for shop. Here is the link: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/simpleloot/

Posted Sep 6, 2013hi, im making a server right now, and i used this mod for a while but removed it temporarily. it worked fine, until i turned it back on. now the items don't hover over the chests anymore, so you have no way to know what you are buying. even the new shops are having this problem. any idea what happened? do i need to remove all the shops i have up and get rid of the config and restart from scratch?

The player must have the permission "shop.operator" to create admin shops.

I will have to look into the actual method of creating these shops later but these are some good ideas. And yes they need to have the permission.
