Shopkeepers

Set up custom villager shopkeepers that sell exactly what you want them to sell and for what price. You can set up admin shops, which have infinite supply, and you can also set up player shops, which pull supply from a chest.
It will also prevent any other trades with non-shopkeeper villagers, if you want it to.
For those who are simply looking for a convenient way to modify the trades of vanilla villagers (as an alternative to using complex Minecraft commands), the plugin also includes a graphical editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
Basic Features
- Easily create villager shopkeepers that trade the items you want them to trade.
- Admins shops with infinite supplies.
- Player shops which pull supplies from a chest.
- Different types of player shops: selling, buying, trading, and selling books.
- Various supported mob types to represent your shopkeeper, sign shops, and Citizens (NPC) shops.
- Editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
- Many configuration options.
- Translatable messages.
- Open source (Source code on GitHub)
Supported server versions
Shopkeepers supports the latest versions of Bukkit / Spigot.
Note that this plugin is created to work with CraftBukkit (or alternatively Spigot). Bukkit does not have an API for some of the things necessary to make this plugin work. This means that other server software (Tekkit, Forge, Cauldron, etc.) will not work with this plugin.
Other CraftBukkit or Spigot derivatives/forks might work, but are not officially supported. So if you run into issues while using those, try to reproduce your issue on a fresh and up-to-date Spigot server first.

Statistics
This plugin uses bStats to collect anonymous plugin usage statistics. This helps me to determine how many servers are using the plugin, which Minecraft versions it is used with the most, and to which degree the different features are used.
Here is a list of all currently tracked information:
- Common information: The number of servers using the plugin, the number of players on these servers, online mode, Minecraft version, plugin version, core count, system arch, operating system, server country, Java version.
- Shopkeepers specific information: Whether specific related plugins are used (Citizens, Towny, WorldGuard, Gringotts, other Vault economy plugins), number of shops, whether player shops are used, whether certain features are enabled in the config (ex. WorldGuard/Towny compatibility, Citizens shops, delayed saves, colored names, chest protection, removal of inactive shops, tax rate, strict item comparison, purchase logging, disabling of other villagers, ..), the number of worlds containing shops.
- All information can be publicly viewed here: https://bstats.org/plugin/bukkit/Shopkeepers/
If you want to disable bStats for all plugins on your server, edit the file plugins/bStats/config.yml, or alternatively disable it only for Shopkeepers by setting 'enable-metrics' to 'false' inside the Shopkeepers config.

Simple console and OP executed commands. For example a heal shop, the player right clicks on a villagers.
prof: 3 command: - OP:heal - CONSOLE:eco take 3 {player} recipes: {}
I have also found a bug regarding the format of the items. &f and normal items will not be traded with \xa7f. For example.
1. I have: &fGold Villager: \xa7fGold Will not allow the trade.
2. I have: Gold Villager: \xa7fGold Will not allow the trade.

I am not sure what you are trying to say.. :(
The latest version of shopkeepers already runs on spigot 1.9.

I am still not sure if this would be suited to be part of this plugin. What use-case exactly do you have in mind (what types of commands would you want to execute when a player opens a certain (admin) shop)?
Anyways, you could create a ticket for it. Also mention your specific use-case, and maybe some of your thoughts about how you expect assigning commands to the shopkeeper should work.
However, currently it is probably better suited to use citizens and citizens shopkeepers and use some already-existing plugin which adds commands to npc interactions (there are already a few out there).
@ObbolaLink
That would basically be a different plugin. Shopkeepers villager-trading-interface feature is what makes shopkeepers different from the other already existing plugins.
Also it would require larger changes: Currently all trading logic is basically handled by minecraft, and would have to be implemented in a similar way in the plugin if one would use chest inventories instead. Not sure what the gain would be in doing that.

Posted Mar 17, 2016Dear plugin creator, your plugin is very nicely done and I really like it! Though I would love to have one feature - to make admin shops with a chest GUI. That would be really nice, and this would be the perfect alternative to other GUI Shop plugins out there, thanks for your time and effort.

Would you be so kind to add the simple right click run command feature? Me and a lot of other Shopkeepers fans would really love this to be added :)

Thanks for letting me know.
Nope. You will have to look into other plugins for that.

Make sure that you are using the very latest version of spigot. Spigot is changing nearly daily.

Posted Mar 16, 2016Everything was working fine, even after the update.
Now my shopkeepers are acting as stationary but ordinary villagers and can not edit anymore.
I can still place them though.
I'm receiving this error:
ERROR Could not pass event PlayerInteractEntityEvent to Shopkeepers v1.70
Can anyone advise?

At the top right corner you can subscribe for file updates. You get an email then whenever I upload an update.
@I9hdkill
Added a ticket for it here: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/shopkeepers/tickets/369-setting-to-make-shop-entities-unpushable/
Though, that might not fully fix your issue with players not being able to click the shopkeeper entity, if it is blocked by an invisible hologram entity.
@AutismFather
There are no items stored in the shopkeeper trading or editor window. At least not for player shops.
All items you see there are 'copies'. When players setup their shop they provide their goods in the chest, and when they open the editor window it creates copies from the items in the chest to initially fill the editor window with. Once they have setup the trading recipes (which doesn't require 'putting any of their items into the editor window' either), the items involved in those recipes are stored internally by shopkeepers, and whenever you open up the editor again, or the trading window, it creates copies of those internally stored items (which were copies of the player's items in the first place as well).

Posted Mar 16, 2016I love this plugin, it is very well done and the config is brilliant.
I do have one small request though. I noticed that if a shop has items set up for the trades, and you click "Delete", there is no prompt and the items just get wiped out. They don't go back into your inventory or anything. I feel like there should either be something saying you can't delete until you've removed your items, or it should dump the contents back into your inventory. (I know a lot of kids on my server will click the 'delete' just to see what it does and lose their stuff)

Posted Mar 14, 2016An option to make shopkeepers stand still and have no hitbox would be cool. (So that you can move through them) Right now, to name them, I put a hologram above it, but when players are pushing it, they sometimes can't click them due to the hologram and it looks kinda weird, because the shopkeeper is longer under the hologram.

This was something which was changed in MC 1.8: It means that players have to offer an item which 'fully' matches the item required by the trading recipe. Previously (MC 1.7 and below) only the item type had to match, in order for the item offered by a player to be accepted by the merchant.

Thank you for the update.
To ensure that I'm understanding this correctly...
"...trading logic has slightly changed (and by that those of shopkeepers as well): if a trade requires an item with special data (like a custom name, etc.) minecraft is now only allowing this trade, if the offered item is perfectly matching, including all special item data and attributes."
Does this mean, that if I sell a special item a created for an admin shop, only that item can be sold OR if I set a 'special' item as something that the villager wants in return for a trade only that trade will show OR something else?
