Shopkeepers

Set up custom villager shopkeepers that sell exactly what you want them to sell and for what price. You can set up admin shops, which have infinite supply, and you can also set up player shops, which pull supply from a chest.
It will also prevent any other trades with non-shopkeeper villagers, if you want it to.
For those who are simply looking for a convenient way to modify the trades of vanilla villagers (as an alternative to using complex Minecraft commands), the plugin also includes a graphical editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
Basic Features
- Easily create villager shopkeepers that trade the items you want them to trade.
- Admins shops with infinite supplies.
- Player shops which pull supplies from a chest.
- Different types of player shops: selling, buying, trading, and selling books.
- Various supported mob types to represent your shopkeeper, sign shops, and Citizens (NPC) shops.
- Editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
- Many configuration options.
- Translatable messages.
- Open source (Source code on GitHub)
Supported server versions
Shopkeepers supports the latest versions of Bukkit / Spigot.
Note that this plugin is created to work with CraftBukkit (or alternatively Spigot). Bukkit does not have an API for some of the things necessary to make this plugin work. This means that other server software (Tekkit, Forge, Cauldron, etc.) will not work with this plugin.
Other CraftBukkit or Spigot derivatives/forks might work, but are not officially supported. So if you run into issues while using those, try to reproduce your issue on a fresh and up-to-date Spigot server first.

Statistics
This plugin uses bStats to collect anonymous plugin usage statistics. This helps me to determine how many servers are using the plugin, which Minecraft versions it is used with the most, and to which degree the different features are used.
Here is a list of all currently tracked information:
- Common information: The number of servers using the plugin, the number of players on these servers, online mode, Minecraft version, plugin version, core count, system arch, operating system, server country, Java version.
- Shopkeepers specific information: Whether specific related plugins are used (Citizens, Towny, WorldGuard, Gringotts, other Vault economy plugins), number of shops, whether player shops are used, whether certain features are enabled in the config (ex. WorldGuard/Towny compatibility, Citizens shops, delayed saves, colored names, chest protection, removal of inactive shops, tax rate, strict item comparison, purchase logging, disabling of other villagers, ..), the number of worlds containing shops.
- All information can be publicly viewed here: https://bstats.org/plugin/bukkit/Shopkeepers/
If you want to disable bStats for all plugins on your server, edit the file plugins/bStats/config.yml, or alternatively disable it only for Shopkeepers by setting 'enable-metrics' to 'false' inside the Shopkeepers config.

If you run into an issue, check if this list already contains and maybe offers information on how to handle it.

Add-On Plugins
Sometimes, a feature is either to specific to include directly into the Shopkeepers plugin, or I did not yet have the time to add something similar myself. For me is saves shops with custom items just fine, except the custom head items.
Check your log if you really have no errors at all. Also check debug mode, if the shopkeeper saving is occuring (it should occur after you edit a shopkeeper for example).

Well, I don't know currently. Maybe the default values of the other permission nodes included in shopkeeper.* matter as well.. I don't know.

Posted Jun 9, 2015Hi !
I have a problem when I use shopkeeper.* permission like this : -shopkeeper.* To remove all permisions. After, I add, in exemple shopkeeper.trade to allow only the trade ,but it dosen't work.
Maybe shopkeeper.* has priority ?
PS : I use GroupManager

Same Issue even with Reg items and/or Enchanted emeralds etc.

I think there is an issue with custom heads (heads with custom textures and no owner). It should however print a giant error stacktrace if it tries and fails your custom head item.
So try not using custom heads for now and see if that fixes your issue.

Posted Jun 8, 2015After a fully day of testing with your plugin, the debug offers nothing with errors. However the save file seems to not acknowledge the villagers with unique items in them in the save folder.
OK I cant find where debug logs/changes anything.
I have had ti set both on and off to save after each shop is opened. And played with the variuous setting it has to offer. The issue I am running into is when using CUSTOM items with ANY villager it refuses to save into the "save.yml" (or anywhere for that matter)
I can't find it saving the shops so the restart is not working.
The custom items I am using are player heads, as well as custom enchanted emeralds and or written books.
I hope this helps <3

Yes I can repeat the issue Some are missing, some wander and become normal villys but they do not duplicate...as there is only one of each.
It appears during EVERY reset. I am using the /stop also backing up and saving prior to.
Not gonna lie this pluggin is exacally what we need <3 if I can get it to work that'll be amazing. Could this be a conflict with worldguard?

They are missing, or did they duplicate themeselves, resulting in the duplicates to wander around?
In case they went really missing: Is the shopkeepers plugin still installed? Did you properly shut down the server (with the stop command)?
If yes, can you reproduce the issue? -> Is this happening with every shopkeeper everytime you restart the server?
If yes, turn on debug mode in the config and check if it is saying something in the log?
There might be someone else having this issue: http:dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/shopkeepers/tickets/320-shopkeeper-deletion/

Because WorldGuard is probably configured to normally block interaction with the item in hand at your current location. So it still prints it's message because it isn't aware of shopkeepers.

Are you using v1.57? The setting is working fine for me.. Also if you are running on MC 1.8 the trades should be strict by default already, regardless of the setting.

Posted Jun 5, 2015I saw a ticket a few weeks ago about the Shopkeepers trading unlike items. I noticed there is a use-strict-item-comparison rule now. Its still not working for me. I have a shopkeeper that trades Paper items. With Lores such as Health Boost, Speed UP, etc. I set the shop to trade those paper items for the potions that go with them. Except just a regular paper item will initiate the trade. So players can trade any paper of these items. I thought the use-strict-item-comparison rule fixed this?
I didnt post a ticket cuz there was already one I posted on a few weeks ago. Should I post another one with screen shots again?

Yes. Currently, it is working fine but I'm not sure if many join mem server. I will follow up the server in a day I see how!
I was in Vietnam, so now does not have the players to participate. Only joking with my own each of my server. ^-^
Thanks for the help!
