Shopkeepers

Set up custom villager shopkeepers that sell exactly what you want them to sell and for what price. You can set up admin shops, which have infinite supply, and you can also set up player shops, which pull supply from a chest.
It will also prevent any other trades with non-shopkeeper villagers, if you want it to.
For those who are simply looking for a convenient way to modify the trades of vanilla villagers (as an alternative to using complex Minecraft commands), the plugin also includes a graphical editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
Basic Features
- Easily create villager shopkeepers that trade the items you want them to trade.
- Admins shops with infinite supplies.
- Player shops which pull supplies from a chest.
- Different types of player shops: selling, buying, trading, and selling books.
- Various supported mob types to represent your shopkeeper, sign shops, and Citizens (NPC) shops.
- Editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
- Many configuration options.
- Translatable messages.
- Open source (Source code on GitHub)
Supported server versions
Shopkeepers supports the latest versions of Bukkit / Spigot.
Note that this plugin is created to work with CraftBukkit (or alternatively Spigot). Bukkit does not have an API for some of the things necessary to make this plugin work. This means that other server software (Tekkit, Forge, Cauldron, etc.) will not work with this plugin.
Other CraftBukkit or Spigot derivatives/forks might work, but are not officially supported. So if you run into issues while using those, try to reproduce your issue on a fresh and up-to-date Spigot server first.

Statistics
This plugin uses bStats to collect anonymous plugin usage statistics. This helps me to determine how many servers are using the plugin, which Minecraft versions it is used with the most, and to which degree the different features are used.
Here is a list of all currently tracked information:
- Common information: The number of servers using the plugin, the number of players on these servers, online mode, Minecraft version, plugin version, core count, system arch, operating system, server country, Java version.
- Shopkeepers specific information: Whether specific related plugins are used (Citizens, Towny, WorldGuard, Gringotts, other Vault economy plugins), number of shops, whether player shops are used, whether certain features are enabled in the config (ex. WorldGuard/Towny compatibility, Citizens shops, delayed saves, colored names, chest protection, removal of inactive shops, tax rate, strict item comparison, purchase logging, disabling of other villagers, ..), the number of worlds containing shops.
- All information can be publicly viewed here: https://bstats.org/plugin/bukkit/Shopkeepers/
If you want to disable bStats for all plugins on your server, edit the file plugins/bStats/config.yml, or alternatively disable it only for Shopkeepers by setting 'enable-metrics' to 'false' inside the Shopkeepers config.

Add-On Plugins
Sometimes, a feature is either to specific to include directly into the Shopkeepers plugin, or I did not yet have the time to add something similar myself. I cannot reproduce your issue: on my test server (running some spigot 1.8 build and the latest shopkeepers) the other player only gets kicked out if the shop is edited by someone else.
So maybe something else is interfering on your server.

Posted Jan 19, 2015I've found a bug on the latest version of Shop Keepers. If I'm in a Shop Villager, and someone clicks on it to open it, it kicks the other player out of it. This makes it impossible to trade if you have a large server or many people trying to buy items. Also what ever item you have on your mouse while you're dragging the item, gets thrown on the floor due to the closing of the inventory.

You could turn debug mode and check the server console log: everytime you attempt to trade it should print a bunch of information. Usually the trade fails if you insert items (the diamonds) which don't exactly match the required items (those setup in the shop).
So make sure that you are really offering the shop exactly matching diamonds.
Other reason why a trade could fail are:
Between, I tried this out: buying a simple enchanted item (tried with diamond pickaxe with unbreakable 3) for the configured currency items from a player shops, as well for any other item I tried from an admin shop, worked for me.

You could use citizens and create a npc shopkeeper: and then use citizens to switch to every possible mob you would like.

Posted Jan 13, 2015Are you going to make a version where you can make squid, spider, slime, silverfish, pig zombie, magma cube, horse, enderman, cave spider, blaze, bat, guardian, and rabbits shopkeepers?
And for idk why you would need these shopkeepers but maybe also have wither, enderdragon and giant xD, and human npc.

I tested exactly what you told me with the default settings: for me it converts the 2 'big' currency items into 18 low currency items (because high-currency-min is by default set to 20 and 2 high currency items equal 18 low currency items).
However I can reproduce the issue if I set the high-currency-min lower than high-currency-value): in this case (if the costs are between high-currency-min and high-currency-value) it sets the first slot empty (because it isn't worth 1 high-currency item) and sets the second slot to the amount of low currency items.
So I will see how this could be fixed, maybe that fixes your similar issue then as well.

When you have an item in private shop for 2 "big currency" and 0 "small currency" it cannot be bought anymore since the big currency goes to the right side of the two places you have to put items in.
Which makes it not able to be bought any more.
You can test his out by putting 1 dirt in it sell it for 2 "big currency" and 0 "small" and you cannot buy it any more

Create a ticket for this and once I got some more time I might look into this. I currently don't know if I would want to add this to the save file.
Alternatively you could write your own little plugin in the meantime which checks the content of the chests of the player shopkeepers after each trade and then set some mark in some own file or database. What I could add for now would be some unique id for each shopkeeper so that you can more easily map custom saved data to a certain shopkeeper.

Posted Jan 5, 2015Hello again... I wrote a little (very shitty :D) JavaScript to parse the 'save.yml' to list all the shops on a website. - http://dev.craft-together.de/markt.php So players are able to compare the offers.
My problem here is: The offers wich are sold out will be listed too. Can you possibly add a 'mark' in the save.yml when a offer is sold out after a player purchasing it?
That would be awesome :D
Sorry again for my terrible english.. Love u! :D
