Shopkeepers

Set up custom villager shopkeepers that sell exactly what you want them to sell and for what price. You can set up admin shops, which have infinite supply, and you can also set up player shops, which pull supply from a chest.
It will also prevent any other trades with non-shopkeeper villagers, if you want it to.
For those who are simply looking for a convenient way to modify the trades of vanilla villagers (as an alternative to using complex Minecraft commands), the plugin also includes a graphical editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
Basic Features
- Easily create villager shopkeepers that trade the items you want them to trade.
- Admins shops with infinite supplies.
- Player shops which pull supplies from a chest.
- Different types of player shops: selling, buying, trading, and selling books.
- Various supported mob types to represent your shopkeeper, sign shops, and Citizens (NPC) shops.
- Editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
- Many configuration options.
- Translatable messages.
- Open source (Source code on GitHub)
Supported server versions
Shopkeepers supports the latest versions of Bukkit / Spigot.
Note that this plugin is created to work with CraftBukkit (or alternatively Spigot). Bukkit does not have an API for some of the things necessary to make this plugin work. This means that other server software (Tekkit, Forge, Cauldron, etc.) will not work with this plugin.
Other CraftBukkit or Spigot derivatives/forks might work, but are not officially supported. So if you run into issues while using those, try to reproduce your issue on a fresh and up-to-date Spigot server first.

Statistics
This plugin uses bStats to collect anonymous plugin usage statistics. This helps me to determine how many servers are using the plugin, which Minecraft versions it is used with the most, and to which degree the different features are used.
Here is a list of all currently tracked information:
- Common information: The number of servers using the plugin, the number of players on these servers, online mode, Minecraft version, plugin version, core count, system arch, operating system, server country, Java version.
- Shopkeepers specific information: Whether specific related plugins are used (Citizens, Towny, WorldGuard, Gringotts, other Vault economy plugins), number of shops, whether player shops are used, whether certain features are enabled in the config (ex. WorldGuard/Towny compatibility, Citizens shops, delayed saves, colored names, chest protection, removal of inactive shops, tax rate, strict item comparison, purchase logging, disabling of other villagers, ..), the number of worlds containing shops.
- All information can be publicly viewed here: https://bstats.org/plugin/bukkit/Shopkeepers/
If you want to disable bStats for all plugins on your server, edit the file plugins/bStats/config.yml, or alternatively disable it only for Shopkeepers by setting 'enable-metrics' to 'false' inside the Shopkeepers config.

<<quote>>Will you add support for currency plugins (integrate with Vault)? No, sorry. The trade interface is really designed for item trades only. For example, the purchase item doesn't even show up until you've put in the item cost required. As an alternative, you could use another plugin to create some sort of bank, where you would buy and sell emeralds for virtual currency. In this way players could deposit and withdraw emeralds for shopping. You may also be interested in the plugin GoldIsMoney.<</quote>>

Okay I tested this now: on craftbukkit 1.7.9. I renamed your 'FireNetworkPrison' world to my local 'world' and they seem to spawn just fine (I tested with those at x 740, z 714). Did you maybe rename your world? Also check your log again for any errors, and if shopkeepers properly got enabled.
The shopkeepers get loaded on bukkit's chunk load event. Maybe some of your plugins somehow loads chunks without calling that event. I am aware of this behavior but for chunk unloads for certain backup or autosave plugins (that's why we now store the entity uuid). Besides, having the uuid in the save file or not should make no difference to the loading of the shopkeeper. Shopkeepers simply use it if it is there, else it manually spawns a new entity (the next time the chunk of the shopkeeper is loaded) and inits the uuid with that. Also it only saves the uuid if necessarry. If it doesn't save the uuid you probably don't have any backup plugin causing chunks to get silently unloaded without an event.

Posted Jun 15, 2014I've pasted the 'save.yml' file and the link is http://pastebin.com/iP3M9E2w. Also, I have the 'playerShopkeeperInactiveDays' set to 0 which I assume means it's disabled. I have had several admins and myself log on to the server to see if they appear but it hasn't worked so far.

Could you paste your old save file somewhere (like pastebin) and leave a link to it here?
Do you have the setting 'playerShopkeeperInactiveDays' set activates (set to something greater than 0)? I recommend disabling this for now on the latest version as there might be some problem with this.
The owner uuid's should get added to the shopkeepers on-the-fly (not at once, but only when the specific player logs in). However, that shouldn't keep them from loading.. theoretically.

I was using the 1.7.4 version before. I have tried multiple versions of the plugin to see if it would work but it doesn't. The plugin works with an empty 'save.yml' file but the information about UUIDs isn't put into the old 'save.yml' file when I use that one. I also tried using the debug mode but it only shows information about new shopkeepers and nothing appears about the old ones as they aren't in the world to interact with.

Which version did you use before?
The owner uuid's of player shops should get added automatically from time to time (when the specific players log in).
And the entry for the entity uuid's should also get added on the run.
Also try turning debug mode on in the config and check the log if there is information/errors on why those shopkeepers are not loaded.

Posted Jun 13, 2014Please help me! How do I convert the old 'save.yml' file to a new version that works with the latest plugin version. I noticed the villager shops stopped spawning and I wondered why. Eventually, I reset the plugin and tested it and saw that the new 'save.yml' file has data about the UUID in it. So, how do I put that data into my old 'save.yml' file as it would be very difficult for me to do all the shopkeepers again as I have over 120 of them. Please solve this issue as it would help me alot - thankyou!

You mean removing the default permissions from groups/players? It is possible, but you will have to look into your permissions plugin how to do that. In the case of permissionsEx you have to prefix the permissions node you want to remove with a dash '-'
