Shopkeepers

Set up custom villager shopkeepers that sell exactly what you want them to sell and for what price. You can set up admin shops, which have infinite supply, and you can also set up player shops, which pull supply from a chest.
It will also prevent any other trades with non-shopkeeper villagers, if you want it to.
For those who are simply looking for a convenient way to modify the trades of vanilla villagers (as an alternative to using complex Minecraft commands), the plugin also includes a graphical editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
Basic Features
- Easily create villager shopkeepers that trade the items you want them to trade.
- Admins shops with infinite supplies.
- Player shops which pull supplies from a chest.
- Different types of player shops: selling, buying, trading, and selling books.
- Various supported mob types to represent your shopkeeper, sign shops, and Citizens (NPC) shops.
- Editor for regular villagers and wandering traders.
- Many configuration options.
- Translatable messages.
- Open source (Source code on GitHub)
Supported server versions
Shopkeepers supports the latest versions of Bukkit / Spigot.
Note that this plugin is created to work with CraftBukkit (or alternatively Spigot). Bukkit does not have an API for some of the things necessary to make this plugin work. This means that other server software (Tekkit, Forge, Cauldron, etc.) will not work with this plugin.
Other CraftBukkit or Spigot derivatives/forks might work, but are not officially supported. So if you run into issues while using those, try to reproduce your issue on a fresh and up-to-date Spigot server first.

Statistics
This plugin uses bStats to collect anonymous plugin usage statistics. This helps me to determine how many servers are using the plugin, which Minecraft versions it is used with the most, and to which degree the different features are used.
Here is a list of all currently tracked information:
- Common information: The number of servers using the plugin, the number of players on these servers, online mode, Minecraft version, plugin version, core count, system arch, operating system, server country, Java version.
- Shopkeepers specific information: Whether specific related plugins are used (Citizens, Towny, WorldGuard, Gringotts, other Vault economy plugins), number of shops, whether player shops are used, whether certain features are enabled in the config (ex. WorldGuard/Towny compatibility, Citizens shops, delayed saves, colored names, chest protection, removal of inactive shops, tax rate, strict item comparison, purchase logging, disabling of other villagers, ..), the number of worlds containing shops.
- All information can be publicly viewed here: https://bstats.org/plugin/bukkit/Shopkeepers/
If you want to disable bStats for all plugins on your server, edit the file plugins/bStats/config.yml, or alternatively disable it only for Shopkeepers by setting 'enable-metrics' to 'false' inside the Shopkeepers config.

Add-On Plugins
Sometimes, a feature is either to specific to include directly into the Shopkeepers plugin, or I did not yet have the time to add something similar myself. This ghost item shouldn't be useful for the player and disappear once it is clicked / therr inventory updated by the server. So it actually works and player doesn't get the item, right?
@Klausar
If you turn on debug mode, does it say that another plugin is cancleiing interaction with the creeper shop then? And like already said, you will have to remove it from the save file manually if you can't get it to work :(

I have the same problem. You can delete it from the save file (plugins\Shopkeepers\save.yml)

It already should check that currently.. the color information for wool is stored in the item's "durability" I think, and this is checked before each purchase..

Posted Jan 3, 2014Hi there,
Is it possible to let the plugin also check for itemdata? So for example players can only trade with red wool which id is 35:14 and deny all others.
thnx

you can scroll through the different shop entities/types by crouching and rightclicking with the shop creation item in hand, I think

Posted Dec 30, 2013Hey,
I'm using latest version for 1.7.2.
I took a pumkin seed as one item in 1.6.4.
Now, Minecraft crashes every time you go on the place where the seed should be.
Any idea why?

You can either change the name prefix in the config (from green to something else), or you add '&' to the name regex and use colorcodes in the names of the shopkeepers directly.

Please create a ticket for your error, especially if it is that long that it spams the comment section..
However, after looking through the stacktrace it looks a lot like this being an issue with the server, not Shopkeeper's. So maybe try with craftbukkit and/or a later spigot build.. if you then still have this issue, create a ticket and make sure to include your build's version number

Check your infinite plots plugin: maybe you or the author can enable clicking of entities (especially clicking of shopkeeper entitites / villagers) for everyone, not only the owner of the plot.
@levisn1
Hm, I get this error if I have a complete empty save.yml file. I will look into fixing that, however you can fix it for now by removing your save.yml file and letting it normally generate with the first shopkeeper you create.

Posted Dec 29, 2013Hmmm....There's a plot plugin (Infiniteplots) that I have, and all the villagers are on my protected plot. People that are added can access the trades, and also any opped people. I don't suppose you can help me fix this? Thanks for your previous reply

This is probably caused by one of your other plugins which deny interaction with the villager. Examples would be: modifyworld, EssentialsAntiBuild, WorldGuard maybe, ..

<<quote>>but, when i tried it on my local server, its just worked fine? my local server have the same version as my main server (Shopkeeper v1.15.1, Spigot #1101 1.6.2 R1.1)but my local server has less plugin than my main server, could be this is a conflicted with other plugin or something?<</quote>>
Could be.. maybe some plugin is changing the item to be somehow differently? The items have to be similar in each aspect, including metadata (attributes, lore, name, enchantments,..)
@2toetommy
Some plugin is probably interaction with the shop. The plugins which I know which could cause this are: GriefPrevention, WorldGuard, EssentialsAntiBuild
@Frosty39801
Please check out the latest beta file: it should work pretty well on 1.7 as well. If you find any bugs or have some other problem with it, feel free to create tickets for each of your issues. Thanks.
