I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

Move the ship:
In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
| Name | ID | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
| Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
| Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

Ships has adverts broadcast from a central server in the code.
He added them in version 3 and the versions continue to be rejected because they have advertising code in them.

Posted May 12, 2013Qx2 i am going to ask this tothout you and i dont want any insite from anyone else are u going to continue ships or not and i do not d reasons i am just a guy who likes to get to the point. thanks for the help.
Now Aj were are there advertisements and if.so for what cuase i would like to know becuase i see none no one on my server sees any and this is a weird statement i would like resons more specific than jusy "Advertising".

Posted May 12, 2013if this is being used in a space environment have a look in the repo. I'll be sorry to see Qx2 stop working on the project out of all the plugins we use ships has been one of my personal favorites. I hope he doesn't abandon. if so i dont know what to do about the repo item i have here either, i claim no ownership i just expanded whats already there, if the core plugin goes into abandon then i dont know if ill be able to update the repo one.
would be a shame.

Posted May 12, 2013ok about ads idk if they are there or not but did Qx2 say he is going to stop making future updates for future versions of bukkit, i want to know, becuase if so i am going have to transfer to movecraft which i do not find fun.

Version 3.1.6 was devoid of ads, etc. And yet it has been removed.
Administration was stick to the old class that I left in the code.
I wanted to make some kind of ship security against theft and wanted to use this code.
The administration said that in some way violate the rules, although the code does nothing.
I understand that they may have reservations about how my program works but decompile, or interfering in my code I for violation of intellectual property rights.
90% of the time I spend here is not only the improvement plugin to deal with the administration.
Something is not right here.
I understand that rules are rules but also I think common sense applies here?
Now started writing the game in JS and I no longer have any incentive to do something on the Ships.

It gets blocked because Qx2 continues to violate the upload rules.
You just can't monetize a plugin on bukkit. No ads, no premium versions etc.
If he continues to upload versions containing ads, then they will continue to be blocked here.

Posted May 12, 2013I'm so tired of this. Qx2 works hard to release up-to-date copies of the plugin, and then some moderator who has nothing better to do blocks it for no reason. This is ridiculous. I've been waiting for weeks for another update to fix the error in 3.1 with 1.5.2, but with each update, it's blocked by some moderator. This is really getting very tiresome.

Posted May 11, 2013Burner? If you can use burner that means you have the old version that uses a cauldron with a sign that says [fuel] in front of it.
The new version has the furnace and the [elevator] sign.

Posted May 11, 2013Every time i try and fly my ship, it says "not enough fuel.!". I have a furnace filled with coal. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
