I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

Move the ship:
In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:

| Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
| Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
| Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

Posted May 25, 2013so i'm having this plugin at my server. i made a ship there is about 7k blocks. i already had changed the config to 8k but when i right click engine sign nothing happens. it does not give me a message or anything, i now tried to make the ship 3 times. but still nothing happens. please help

Posted May 20, 2013Ok, i've developed some mad skills in building ships that don't burn. ahaha. skills you said. :)
Well, anyways there is a huge bug with marsships.
Nothing in console to report, however, here's what is happening.
The pilot, ie the person hitting the EOT sign is slung to front of the marsships and on the 3rd movement falls to their peril. However, passengers, those who didn't hit the EOT sign remain on board where they are standing.

Do they burn completely away, or burn for a few seconds and go out?
The way jungle wood works is that it can catch on fire (fundamental Minecraft property) but they go out after a second or two.
@Qx2:
One thing I would like to see on Ships is an autopilot. It's where you place a sign with coordinates on it, and the ship flies to first the Y coordinates, then the X, then the Z, and so forth. That way, you can automatically fly to any specified location.
I'd make it myself if I was good enough with Java, but I'm not yet.

Posted May 19, 2013Yeah I'm having problems with redstone too, repeaters and wire copy themselves and leave a big trail of items in my wake. Also dispensers do not keep their facing when turning, nor their inventory, but I guess that was to be expected as he has not addressed them

Posted May 18, 2013I'm loving the plugin too, decided to make one of our blimps that is made out of 95% wool fly and while all the signs register just fine the ship refuses to initialize.

Posted May 18, 2013Hey Qx2. I really love your plugin. Thank you for all of the hard work. I am running this on my server. Everything seems to be working great. I was wondering if you or anyone else has some general tips on how to make the best airship/marsship. Occasionally when I rotate my ship i fall out of the bottom. Are there certain blocks or ship building techniques that work better than others? Is it possible to make a marsship that could run on coal during the night without having to change the signs? Thanks again for all of your hard work. -Cid

Yeah, I have the same problem. Whenever the ship is moved, the redstone wiring that is there stays put, but it also drops redstone dust.
