I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

Move the ship:
In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:

| Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
| Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
| Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

You can adjust the blocks per move in the config under speed. I move 30 blocks at a time with out much of an issue.

Posted Oct 10, 2012Looks very interesting! although I'm not interested in getting till maybe flying is a lot smoother... in the video it shows you moving like what? 1 block per 10 seconds???? which is wayyy to slow! Really wish the creators of Minecraft would add something like that....

In version 2.0.2 only when the option weakserver is set to true. When is set to false construction not have this restriction.

You should look into the config file.
There could be defined 60% wool per ship.
set it to 10% .
Use for your first ship wood und wool. nothing else.
Notice the construction principle.
the block must be set flank to flank .

Have you broken the ships sign and EOT sign and replaced them? What blocks are you using to construct the ship? Are you level on top of the water?

Posted Oct 8, 2012Update, improved fire prevention. I added 2 options. Now you can enable the fire prevention and you can enable the server to accelerate. compilation for Java 1.6. This will elminate most of the questions.
If you have any ideas (or notifying error) it would not do garbage here, please use the forum. Here, write only praise ;p

Posted Oct 5, 2012Since Qx2 seems to have vanished again, i'll answer your questions if I can...
@MERCHANToDEATH place the sign on the floor in front of the cauldron. put [fuel] on it and press ok. it should switch so that it is attached to the side of the cauldron.
@Sicarius531 the block requirements are made so that airships have to be realistic. why on earth would you make an airship out of rock?
@sception possibly your issue is that this plugin requires Java 7 to function. possibly your plugin version is out of date. possibly your bukkit.jar is out of date.

Even after I place the JAR file in the plugins.. and restart the server, it would not get installed...
any ideas what I am doing wrong or missing?

Posted Oct 4, 2012First of all, let cobblestone and sandstone be reconized. Also, I have a bug where repeaters duplicates as entities. So exemple: If I put a repeater then i move, the repeater will stay as a block, but there will be a repeater item on the ground. Please fix this.

Posted Oct 4, 2012I got everything on my airship but the fuel tank. Am I supposed to put the [fuel] sign on the cauldron? I can't do that because I have deadbolt and it automatically makes it a lock sign.

Posted Oct 1, 2012This is an Fantastic Plugin! This plugin works extremely well, and with some tweaking to the config files, you can make one master piece of a ship. My Profile picture is of a working ship that I have on my private server. It does work, and doesn't crash the server:). I wish you the best of luck as you work on this plugin.

Posted Sep 29, 2012I'm now using this on Lueracraft. This works pretty well.
2 suggestions -
1- a way to add your own list of blocks to use with it? ( Autocraft has a similar method)
2- (probably won't happen) Tekkit compatibility?
