I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

Move the ship:
In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
| Name | ID | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
| Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
| Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

Posted Nov 7, 2018I need Help please.
I built a big Ship and i was trying to sign it with [ships] ship and then he name of the ship and i didnt tell me anything went wrong. so when i tried to sail with the [move] sign it said there is wool in the way. i was confused and looked if the wool from my sails was displayed as a part of my ship. and no it wasnt. i dont understand how the sign is not recognizing my sails consisting of whool. please help.

Posted Sep 29, 2018A shiny new Alpha.
If you look below you will see most comments talking about the same issue. The fact the "Ship" type does not move, thanks to those comments bringing it to my attention as well as the multiple private messages and the messages on spigot I found what was going wrong and I have fixed it in the next update.
The new update fixes the issue with the Ship type and also disables the other types that the issue affects. Please note that you will need to remove the "watership.yml" file from your ships configuration file for it to fully take affect.
Please also note this new update only fixes that issue. The other issues found will still occur. This is thanks to time restrictions so sorry for if it feels like Ships is no longer getting the love it deserves, I personally do and want to correct this.
The issue affected the ship, submarine and plane and it was where Ships would read the config file for the selected Ship Type and attempt to read the old Minecraft numeric ids and attempt to convert them (essentially old code) and fail. From there Ships would have no idea what the materials were because the list of required materials was "null" (missing).

on the sighnit says "[ship] is not installed on this server" i have done it with cap on ships and ship
i have tried others but it says that there not installed please help

I tried version 5.1, and building various vessels. Wheel and moving did not work at all, the only thing that worked (except for popping the coal out) was changing the altitude.
Any idea by now what the problem could be? Thanks!
