I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

Move the ship:
In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
| Name | ID | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
| Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
| Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

Now i know a lot of you are set on this plugin (Ships) however i have been drawn to keep as much as the original code as i can.
My new plugin (Vessels) is my own version of Ships and unlike MoseCraft-Ships this will be a 100% recode. Vessels has been designed as a API as well as a plugin. Vessels i am not afraid to change the code on. Vessels allows subIDs within the materials list. Vessels allows anyone to create there own types of vessels using a easy-to-use YML format, You can then go even further being a plugin developer with creating your own Vessels.
Vessels i am working on within the background of my life and i will hopefully have a Alpha before this year ends.
I will be inviting select few supporters of Ships to try Vessels before release (as there own release ..... i will not lock it to my own server).

so it falls out the sky when it has no fuel ... i like the idea of that however when it comes to worldGuard support and the airship is above the world guard region it would either need to stop ontop of the world guard region or go right though it.
either way it is not possible unless i find a way to move vessels with commands.(it currently gets the sign clicked by the user then checks all blocks connected)

Engine is a dropper. And fuel is configable in the config (default fuel ID is 'Coal block'

4.1.0.2 should be backwards compatible. If not you can click 'Files' close to the top of this page (you can do that with any plugin on dev.bukkit.org) and you will get a list of all plugin versions

Dear MoseMister, I am having troubles with some ships that they say that obstacles is in the way or is too big or too small also with some planes I wanted to put max block to 20000 but I am not sure if it works, also I enabled all materials in config and materials files. Also I have cannons plugin on ships but some of them work like that. Can you please change config and make that everything can be built extra large and send me config file into private messages. Also what is debugging true/false meaning. Sorry for so many questions. Sincerely, Aleksa

alright im going to need a bit more info. What version of Bukkit are you using? What version of Ships are you using? is there any messages in the console?
All of the Supports for this plugin where not fully tested by me, however i gave the job to my testers (who are now gone (not all of them) for not reporting any major bugs (like error when booting up))

Posted Aug 10, 2014MoseMister- Sorry for messaging you again i have found another bug and i cant figure it out. when i turn on cannon support. factions support. or world guard support (those are the only ones i tested) it prevents the ship from moving and i have tested this with several different ships and they all did the same thing plz answer this quickly so that i can fix this to where i can use world guard to block ships from running into spawn and wrecking it ((some dicks did that on a server i play and trashed the spawn and never got caught))

Someone else reported a bug like that before, the patch is very simple however I never got a reply for the info I needed to fix it.
The patch is to go info the ships folder and delete the name of the vessel you are trying to create, after you deleted it reload/restart your server and create it. It should work

Posted Jul 30, 2014I am Unable to name my Airship vessel,it says: "permission miss match to make the airship vessel". i am using the Ships 4.1.0.2 - untested. What should i do ?
