I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

Move the ship:
In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
| Name | ID | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
| Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
| Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

there is no option to enable ships settings onto more then one ship. however i could allow this option in the next update

one of my testers has recently pointed out that Ships 3 can move much larger ships then ships 4.
This is because Ships 4+ has a lot more data that it needs to have to give you all that brand new stuff. However all hope is not lost. Ships 3 and lower has some code that was needed from Ships 1 and Ships 2 as well as ships 3 having more liisteners then needed.
I am removing all of these and going to be releasing it as MoseCraft-Ships. This will also have the changes MoseCraft-Ships promised including custom vessels.
I am still working on some code that will allow massive vessels to be used but nothing yet

Posted Jun 28, 2014You know that name mixed with mine and Qx2 other projects called MoseCraft-Ships?
You know how it has been sitting there for a month or 2 now, not doing anything.
Well, hopefully it will change. If bukkit allow me to upload the MoseCraft-Ships plugin on its own page then that little bit of text will change into something bigger.
MoseCraft- Ships relys hevely on Ships code. Even though Ships is open source and Qx2 has stated anyone can use his code (i can not find it - and it does not state anyone can use my code). So there is a chance that Bukkit will not accept it

Bukkit like to make sure the plugins they allow there users to use are 100% safe.. this means the public needs to want for approvals (all of my plugins have taken 1-5 days to be approved).
I believe the users should have access to the plugin before it gets approved (but this means they will need to use it at there own risk). Bukkit allow me to do this but not though there website (fair enough). So if you click the image at the top for 'Mose Craftbukkit plugins'. you are able to download releases, betas, alpha that i release to the public before they get approved at all.
Some of my plugins dont get uploaded to dev.bukkit because i want people to be aware of the service i give, so some are uploaded to Mose craftbukkit plugins and not bukkit. You can see the latest version on each website by looking at the big blue/green circle in the middle of this page.

Posted Jun 28, 2014A shiny new build of Ships 4.1 has been made. im uploading it to both MoseCraftbukkitPlugins and dev.bukkit.org now.
This new build 'attempts' (i have never encountered the error where a player falls of a vessel so i could not test it) to fix the teleport fall off.
This build also adds vault support. fixs a few bugs found in 4.0.2 and 4.1A1. fixed a bug where most of the steamboat configuration would not set correctly.
lastly this version of Ships 4.1 fixes a few message errors (wrong line, colours, etc)
This new shiny build is still under development so use at your own risk

I have tested 4.0.2, 4.1 V1 and 4.1 V2 on 1.7.9 Beta 2 and 1.7.9 dev 0.3.
every single test worked without any errors...

have not worked out the bug (the error on the console states that its a problem with bukkit/minecraft/java - neither i believe are the culprits)

There is no vault support for ships at the moment due to the fact I'm terrible with programming vault.
That being said I have just made a private plugin that has vault support meaning I proably can put vault support into ships.
The way around the problem your having is for the player to place the signs manually (give the player 4/5 signs).

Posted Jun 24, 2014Hey mose. I was getting my server ready but stumbled upon a problem. I have figured out the spawning/buying of the ships, but I am stuck on how I am going to get the ships sign automatically filled out for the player when he/she buys the ship so they are the owner of it.
Do you have any idea on how I could get around this? I am also using command blocks to spawn the ships and take the money out of the players balance
