I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:

|---|---|---|
| Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
| Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
| Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

If it does come out on Wednesday it will be buggy, we are currently exsperiancing lots of bugs with 4.1.0 untested first release.
Having said that i proably won't be able to get full release done for Friday (small possiblilty that I will)

there is a way to do that for all vesseles. If you turn materials list to true in the config, everything in the materials list (Materials.YML) will become activate. so if the material is set to true, vessels will detect that as a block they can use, if the material is set to false, that block can not be used on a vessel

Is there a option in the config to only allow certain blocks to be made into a plane? so say if I only wanted red wool and white wool to be made into a plane, that way if I bumped into anything else it wouldn't connect to the plane and become apart of it.

only the vessel type and vessel name are taken from the ships sign now, The name is stored within the onDatabase.
If you want to make it so anyone can drive any vessel (even if they dont own it) you can turn ProtectedVessels to false (in the config).
However, if you want it just for one vessel then you may need to want a little bit whist i code that option in

fuel consumption being 0 can cause bugs due to the nature of the buggy fuel consumption code.
the bug you have just given me shows it is not reading the database properly but sometimes dose read it (meaning the data has been removed, or the location has been moved).
I dont know what to suggest other then check your console frequently for errors.

go into the following folder and tell me everything the file says:
<root>/plugins/ships/vesselData/
open your vessel info, then send me everything about that vessel. from there i maybe able to fix it for future versions

Ok, ships 4.1.0 has a lot of new features that i guessed would bug out.
The ships sign has changed (because 4.1 is not approved yet i can not put it on the main page)
The ships sign is now
[ships] <vessel type> <vessel name> <blank>
as for the other signs, i have no clue. Is there a error within the console when loading or clicking a sign?
