I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

Move the ship:
In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
| Name | ID | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
| Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
| Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

a lot of delays in my life have happened in my life that have affected a lot including this plugin. Beta 10 should be out by now however im still working on it.
Beta 10 should be out late today (GBT) or tomorrow. either way im sorry for the long wait (you may have guessed making plugins is not on my top priority's).

until i fix dispensers there will be no weapons. the dispensers dont like my normal code so you maybe waiting a long time for it

the detector is a daylight sensor.
the factions support only works (properly) in 3.3 beta 8+ and it stops vessels moving into faction areas. i am working on it so if your leader of the faction then you can still move around in your own faction land, but thats time to come

thnx and also... with the mars ship it says 10% of the required block (detector) what is that? and it says it works with factions... does that mean u can turn the ship into a faction base?

depends on how powerful your server is. if your server can cope with it the default amount set in the config for most vessels is 3000 blocks. however some servers can cope with more, some less.

miss out some past version stuff such as the NON-Permissions-Permissions from pre release 2. I also came into some problems with the new config.
im working on beta 10 that has a secret feature requested by one of my testers that gives the dropper a better use.

a new tutorial will be uploaded to youtube and here shortly, showing of Ships 3.3 beta 9. creating a plane and airship.
This shows the brand new features from beta 9 including the CorrectlyWorkingConfig. the new arrangement in the config. the new database system (does not work).
and this seems to be the first video on youtube showing the altitude sign .... (i have seen one video saying 'use altitude not elevator' however its still shows the outdated plugin)

thats your problem. i did not spam it that much meaning it may not be the problem where the size of the vessel is too large. however, i could i have a image of your vessel just to be sure.

this plugin works on 1.7.8 however it can be buggy with the fuel .... like always. bar that it looks like it works fine with the 1.7.8 builds

Yeah I am unsure why, it's just those specific blocks, all the other woods work. :/
Also I meant stairs and logs dont work, not slabs, slabs do work

I can confirm that on pre-release 3.3 the Dark Oak and acacia Logs, or the Dark Oak and acacia Stairs, do not work on vessels. The planks and slabs do but not the stairs or slabs.
Yet it still does not work.

i have just given the new beta that gets rid of the annoying 'CreateConfig:' option to my testers. it will shortly be releases to the public as a beta under the Mosecraft link. This will be beta 9 (wow i create a lot of betas). And i will also say, this maybe the last 3.3 beta.
The database system is long to come and im still working on it, i have done everything else i hoped 3.3 would do. I will be closing the beta project when minecraft 1.8 comes out (if 3.3 has not been released then, if 3.3 gets released earlier then i will tell you the new time the betas get shut down)

sorry .... the dropper does not take anything ... still the furnace. im moving stuff over still. beta 8 and pre release 2 are mid steps .... beta 9 will also be like this. sorry
