I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

Move the ship:
In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
| Name | ID | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
| Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
| Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

Not possible on this plugin but could be possible on advanced ships ... Dont get your hopes up for this feature in advancrd ships

If you have the time or inclination, can you look into making this plugin work with the WorldBorder plugin? In that I mean, if I set the border to teleport when a player hits it, it teleports them to the opposite position of the border (so it wraps around). It would be nice if the ship did that, but I understand that it might not be possible.

Posted Feb 21, 2014Yes, mainly it requires a reactor (beacon block) to be able to move, and a boost sign that increases the ships speed but makes you unable to turn or use the elevator.Also, moving doesn't heat up the reactor, but everything else does, if you use the boost, turn or elevator too much the reactor heats up and the ship explodes. You could represent the heat % on a sign or something like that.
Teleport wouldn't work out in minecraft, people would just be teleporting everywhere. It could work if it had a lot of heat cost, some warmup time and a cooldown, and if you could only set a home locaton and only teleport to it, but even without that it's still complicated. Do what you want, i just gave you an idea

so essentially a ship that forces teamwork to use, fuel that charges itself (like the solarship ... but charges on no move) ... and ability to teleport ...
oh btw, bukkit dont like it when you post external links unless they are going to another bukkit page or a github page

added terminator (bit harder then i though ... so it disables all materials on the plugin without modifying your configs)

go to mosecraftbukkitplugins (click logo above) and at the bottom left corner, it should be there.
be warned when i feel like it (i will give a warning here) the open beta will close and all these beta ships plugins will crash after that point (i can guess there will be a way around this but still ... thats not the point)
after the betas close ... and you still want this plugin you can always use the builds set here.
be warned if you are one of thous people who change the version number in the plugin.yml (inside the jar file) i will crash the plugin.
i should also point out i did not have time to program the crash at my demand code in the first open beta release ... enjoy

well a open beta of 3.3 will be arriving at the Mose Craftbukkit plugins page by the end of this week (maybe earlier).
3.3 comes with a recode of a few things
please note is this a beta - this means it is not fully finished, it could be buggy and to expect rapid updates (stay in tune for the updates)
just click on the mosecraftbukkitplugins image to gain access to the correct link

comes with the plugin in the zip. extract the zip and it should be there.
you are using 3.2.4 right?
in that there are 2 plugins, 1 is the config creator (create the config when 'createconfig' is set to true, and the real plugin.

no, it means dropper now works using the code from the dispenser ... i am about to test a new dev build of 3.3 that has some new item code for the dispenser. IT DIDNT WORK
btw 3.3 comes with a lot of new features

Even though i love working on this plugin and helping you guys ... A new priority has come into my life. So i can not work as much on the code for this plugin, and i maybe delayed (compaired to normal) for replying to you lot.
I still am creating code, its just delayed.

Just to be clear when you say fly you mean plane can fly?
